サンフランシスコの越川赳夫さんとお会いしました。
越川さんは、「江戸しぐさ」で有名な越川禮子先生の次男の
方で、私もサンフランシスコ在住の時には、大変お世話に
なりました。
サンフランシスコでのコンフレンスでShindo ワークショップ
の参加を呼びかけて頂いた時、茶道のデモンストレーションも
一緒にどうですかという事でした。
それが大当たり🎯Shindoは名前も知れていない当時でしたが、
お隣のブースはサンフランシスコでも有名な先生方でしたが、
Shindoワークの方に人が集まって来て、驚き‼️でした。

私のドキュメンタリーに禮子先生のインタビュー記事を書いて
下さるということになりました。
禮子先生は現在99歳で今は広島のホームに入られています。
禮子先生とは私が福岡から東京へ上京して直ぐに、新宿の青木
先生からご紹介いただきました。
禮子先生は64歳、私は45歳というキャリアウーマンのピーク
を過ぎている年齢でした。
ところが禮子先生はまもなく「江戸しぐさ」で第一人者となられ、
80過ぎから表舞台で活躍されました。97歳まで活動されて
いました。
私は今80歳、まだまだ頑張れそうですかね(笑)
禮子先生は若い人たちに「江戸しぐさ」を伝えて行きたいと言われて
いましたので、縄文Shindoインストラクターの人たちも機会ある
ごとに、江戸しぐさの勉強に禮子先生の武蔵新城のご自宅に伺って
いました。
越川さんは映像関係の仕事をされているので、ドキュメンタリーの
映像の日本語版などのお手伝いなども得意、宜しくお願いします。
デニスバンクスやKITAROのDVDやドキュメンタリーもたくさん
作られていますので、何というか、このグッドタイミングの出会い
に驚きました。
