arrange, disposeの違いは？

（定義はMerriam-Webster Unabridged）

arrange: to put in correct, convenient, or desired order（適宜に並べる、配置する）

dispose: to put in place or order,  distribute and arrange especially for greatest effectiveness, economy, ease, or conformity to a pattern（適宜に配置する、置く、並べる）

配置や場所に関しては同義語で、明確な違いは無さそうですが、arrangeは特に複数要素の存在を前提に、全体として見ているようなニュアンス？disposeの方がより科学的、フォーマルらしい。

この動画（Patent Terminology, Session 5：米国特許翻訳社様）では、arrange, dispose, locate, connect, attach, mount等の違いが解説されていました。物のクレームではプロセスを示唆するこれらの動詞は出来れば避けた方が良い場合もあるとも解説されています。

ということは、

AがB上に配置されている：A is on B

AがB内に配置されている：A is in B

AがBに接続されている：A is in connection with B (?)

AがBに取り付けられている：A is integral with B (?); A is a part of B (?); A is in integral relationship with B (?)

「配置」はともかく、「取り付け」、「接続」等の場合は動詞を省くのは難しいのでは？実際問題、翻訳者の判断で適宜端折ることは難しいと思います。
