You have learned the word "Ianfu" by now.
I simply translate it as prostitute.
Ian means to comfort and fu is woman/women.
The other day lestening Mr Shigeharu Aoyama during the Voice
( a radio program of every thursday),
I learned some advertisemsnts in news Papers mentioned during the war:
Ianfu demanded urgently, 300 yens a month Please come to see us.
At that epoque soldiers received 10 yens a month.
Mr Aoyama didn't say the name of news papers
so., I tried to see any site in the internet.
And I found some.
If this is true,
the Japanese army did not need kid nup Corean women for Ianfu use.
With my poor English it is not easy to explain the detail.
But you professionel journalists, you can seach this matter yourself.
I dared write this in my blog,
because I find it very shamful to put such a stutue in the USA
belieaving what Corean Americans are saying.
Before participating in such a movement, this matter is worth
to search more.
And one more thing, Japn offered a fuge amount of money to
the father of the President Park Guen-hye, Mr Park Chung-hee
to settle every thing including Ianfu matter.
I kooked for something written in the Internet, but I didn't find
as I wished to read.
