Conchita, the first photo of today is showing you
the step towars the forc-knives. My intention is
to make some 45 of these.
Those small pieces on the right are the side bands.
About 10 of these pairs are now cemented and drying
for tommorrow.
These below are just front-runners. I may
talk about the side profile transcription and
sanding process, not now...
I have sorted out the layout in my workshop and
this one is showing you one example, with the
bits that I use frequently.
These small pieces easily go astray and it is
vital that I have a safe place to store them in.
Now, take a look at these giant spoons. They have been
machine sanded and waiting for my hand sanding. Only yesterday
I ordered sealing polyurethane, and with a few other
things they will be here very shortly. It remains to be
see how good the sealing material might turn out to be.
The giants will be subjected to just that!
Here bewlo, I started working on cornflake spoons,
and actually also on infant feeders, not shown here.
Cornflakes are 7 of them, good enough for initial display...
Infant feeders are also of absorbing kind and
they will be treated with the sealant.
Coating on the last lot is going on. And, on top of that
I will need to work on oak chopstics and
the propellers this evening.
Conchi, see? I am making myself busy!!!
