8まず初めに、イエス・キリストを通して、あなたがた一同についてわたしの神に感謝します。あなたがたの信仰が全世界に言い伝えられているからです。
9 私は、御子の福音を宣べ伝えながら心から神に仕えています。その神が証ししてくださることですが、わたしは、祈るときにはいつもあなたがたのことを思い起こし、10何とかしていつかは神の御心によってあなたがたのところへ行ける機会があるように、願っています。11あなたがたにぜひ会いたいのは、”霊”の賜物をいくらかでも分け与え、力に成りたいからです。12あなたがたのところで、あなたがたとわたしが互いに持っている信仰によって、励まし合いたいのです。13兄弟たち、ぜひ知ってもらいたい。ほかの異邦人のところと同じく、あなたがたのところでも何か実り得たいと望んで、何回もそちらに行こうと企てながら、今日まで妨げられているのです。14わたしは、ギリシャ人にも未開の人にも、知恵のある人にもない人にも、果たすべき責任があります。15それで、ローマにいるあなたがたにも、ぜひ福音を告げ知らせたいのです。
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all,that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son,that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my parayers;
10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11 For I long to see you, that may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12 That is,that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you,(but was let hitherto,)that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

私は、仏法に身を置く身です。そのため、「南無妙法蓮華経」を唱えていますが、神様仏様に仕える身です。あなた方はイエスの子として、聖書をよく読み信仰に努めてください。私も聖書を読みますし、あなた方を祈っています。「わたしの”霊”の賜物をあなた方に分けてください」と願っています。いつか、戦争がなくなり、壁がなくなり、私とあなたがお会いできる日が来ることを私は願っています。アーメン。
