英国のハンティングなどのカントリースタイルにお似合いなSCOTT NICHOLのソックスになります。
勿論、英国製になります。
1930年創業のソックス専業メーカーになりまして、現在では、かのパンセレラの傘下となっております。
しかし今もなお、英国の熟練の職人さん達の手作業で丁寧に作られておりまして、その履き心地は足を優しく
包み込んでくれますね。
足とシューズの架け橋となってくれる存在なだけにソックスは、履いた際にも嫌な感覚が無くてきつ過ぎず緩すぎず
の丁度良い締め付け具合が大事ですよね。
こちらのSCOTT NICHOLはパンセレラ同様に、その感覚を実現してくれる一足かと思います。
その昔は、ウール糸とナイロン糸を巧みに混紡して作り上げるソックスは画期的だったそうです。
現在は、メリノウール28％ビスコース28％ナイロン28％シルク14％そしてライクラを2％混紡して作られております。

In the olden days, socks made by skillfully blending wool and nylon yarns were epoch-making.
It is now made from a blend of 28% merino wool, 28% viscose, 28% nylon, 14% silk and 2% Lycra.

全貌は、こちらになりまして、履き口のリブはマスタードとなります。
履き口や爪先それに踵部分などはシューズを脱がなければ人目に触れることもございませんが、
（西洋の場合、靴を脱ぐことが外出先では、そうそうありませんので）
その見えないところに凝るのが英国風なのかもしれませんね。
英国貴族は、スーツを仕立てる際にも裏地に凝るそうなので。
日本の着物文化にも似ているかと思います。
僕も家業が呉服屋さんだったので、祖父が羽織の裏にいつも凝ってたのを幼いながら、よく覚えておりますね。
昔は、花街に出向いた際、羽織を脱ぐと表現できるが粋と祖母からも教えて頂きました。
日本も戦争に負けるまでは、英国文化に似通っていたのかもしれませんね。
良いものを長く使うと！
サスティナブルなどと昨今よく耳にするのですが、良いものを長く使うだけって事じゃないでしょうか！
グローブやソックスが破れたら修理して再度使うとかツィード素材などもアウトドアーなウェアーなので、
補習を重ねて着用されるのが一番素敵だしサスティナブルなんじゃないでしょうか。

In the old days, when I went to a geisha district, I was told by my grandmother that I could express myself by taking off my haori coat, but that I was stylish.
Until Japan lost the war, it may have been similar to British culture.

I hear a lot these days about sustainability, but isn't it just about using good things for a long time?
If gloves or socks are torn, they can be repaired and reused, and tweed materials are also outdoor wear.

全貌は、こちらになりまして、履き口はグレーになります。
しかし見える部分はグレージュのみとなります。
履かれる御本人さんのみが知る洒落た色使いとなりますね。
ジーパンからフランネルやコーデュロィのトラウザーズなどに良くお似合いになる一足かと思います。

色落ちしましたRESOLUTE710にコーディネィトしてみました！
OPERA社のデニムスウェードですからネイビーよりも若干色も薄めで新品時から割と自然な雰囲気で
履いて頂けますね。
