盲目で形而上、可視で形而下 Metaphysical with blindness, Material with visibility

目が見えない人は

手で触って他人を認知する。

A blind can acknowledge others

-by touching with hands.

触ることが見ることで

聞くことが知ることになる。

For them, touching is seeing and

-listening is knowing.

私は電気を付けない真っ暗で

階段を下がったり、上がったりしている。

I usually doing stepping stairs up and down in the dark

-without turning on lights.

目が見えない人の状態を感じることもできるし

自分の記憶力を確かめる機会にもなるからだ。

Because it can be an opportunity to check my memory and

-I can feel blind that the way they are feeling.

目が見えていないと

When I can’t see

記憶だけが頼りで

-only memory can be reliable

手を体より先に伸ばし

-extending my hands ahead than body movements

前方に何があるかを偵察させなくてはならない。

I must make reconnoiter what is in front of me.

真っ暗で階段を下りるときは

When going down the stairs in quite dark

始めは記憶している階段の段数が頼りになるが、

-at the beginning, I can rely on my memory that

-how many steps in the staircase,

最後の段数になるとその記憶もあいまいになって

-but the memory becomes ambiguous around the last step.

平地に着地できるか、

I am not sure if I can land on a flatland

まだ降りる段数があるかが分からなくなる。

-or still there will be more steps to go down.

なので、安全を確かめるために

So, to ascertain safety,

片方の足を伸ばし前方に何があるか

手探り足探りをしなければならない。

I must grope and fumbling with one leg stretching out,

-to find out what is in the front.

その時は見えないことが恐怖になり

At that moment, invisibility becomes fear

ただ一つの段差を踏み間違えると

足をひねたりする怪我になる。

If I mistake just one step

-it leads to get injure or twisting my ankles.

目が見えていないと

When I can’t see,

階段も平坦な平地も

-stairs or even flatlands

安全なところではなくなる。

-they are not safe places.

目が見えない人からみて

From a view point of a blind,

空間は広がっていなく

-the space is not kind of expanding,

確かめながら広げていく暗黒物質なのかもしれない。

-it may be a dark matter that

-getting to spread out while making sure.

哲学で形而上や形而下の用語がある。

There are terms of metaphysical and material in metaphysics.

形を持っていない形而上のイメージに対し

Metaphysical metaphysics has an image of form,

物質の形を持つ形而下は事実を表す。

Material physics represents facts that having material forms.

目が見えない人が世界を見る視点を形而上

Substituting metaphysical as the perspective which a blind sees the world,

目が見える人が世界を見る視点を形而下だと仮定すると

-and assuming Material physics as the perspective which from

-people who have normal eyesight visibility see the world.

表れている現象や事実に対し

感覚の違いによって

全く違う認知の仕方をしている。

Those people who can see or not

-have completely different ways of perceptions

-about phenomena and fact

-depending on different sensors.

そのように現れている現象や事実を

Such kinds of phenomenon or facts

人間の認知の欠如によって

既にある真実を事実として

認識できないのは

-cannot be recognized as a truth

-because of human being’s perception is yet something lacking.

現代の人間は未だに

真実を事実として見ることができない

盲人なのかもしれない。

Maybe modern human being is still blind

-who can’t see a truth as a fact.

曹洞宗の坐禅のやり方は

In a way of doing zazen in Soto sect

目を半開きにするが

-open eyes halfway

それは見ないことも見ることもしない

見えることを受動態にする意味のようだ。

-it seems to mean to be a passive in visibility

-making that will neither see nor see.

目を完全に閉じてしまうと

If eyes are completely closed,

見えることを遮断してしまうが

-it blocks what can see.

半開きにすることによって

見える視野が限定できる。

However, if opened eyes halfway

-it can limit visible eyesight.

見える対象を特定しないことにより

見えることを限定しない。

By not identifying visible objects

-it can lead to be limited what to see.

見えることで見えなくなる形而上や

Visibility makes invisibility in metaphysics,

見えない視点から捉えた形而下も

-or the Material physics captured by invisibility,

ただ人間の持つ欠損に過ぎないかも知れない…
