解説
戦争で下半身不随となり、車椅子生活を送っていた
元海兵隊員の男は、「アバター・プロジェクト」に
呼ばれる。
それは地球から遙か彼方にある惑星パンドラで、
希少鉱物を採掘する事業だった。
人体に有害なパンドラの環境下で過ごせるよう、
先住民と人間のDNAをかけ合わせた肉体・アバター
が作られ、彼はそれを遠隔操作しながら思い通り
に体を動かす自由を得る。
神秘的な光景が広がるパンドラの森の中、やがて彼は
先住民の美しい女性と出会う。
