Trump’s victory in the US would symbolize anti-intellectualism in this modern world.
This is I think in line with the big, historical, millennial-scale move “downwards”.
More specifically, after the Renaissance and emergence of humanism, the world seems moving against “sublime, majestic, holy, sacred, magnificent, awesome, paternal” and heading downwards to “compassionate, humane, kind, empathetic, maternal, charitable, merciful” with no limit.
The balance or the golden mean of the above two should be best though.
