仏教の経典には、仏の玉の言葉がいくつも書かれている。それが根っこなのだと
言って反論したことがあります。
私たちにとって根っことは、「準砥観音経」です。「準砥観音経」は準砥尊につい
て、私たちに深く語りかけている。
「寂静にして心常に誦すれば一切諸諸の大難能く是の人を侵すこと無し」
一切の大難が、自分を襲うことはない。
「天上及び人間福を受くること仏の如く等しＬ
天上界と人間界の福を、仏様と同じに受けることができるのです。こう教えてく
ださっている。これを信ずるのです。これを信じることにより、本当に生きる力が
出てくる。
「此の如意珠に遇はば定んで無等等を得んＬ
このご真言は如意宝珠と同じことである。如意宝珠というのは、心に願ったこと
をすべてかなえてくれる宝の玉です。仮想の宝でしょうけれども、仏教に、如意宝
珠という考えがある。この宝珠をいただけば、心に願うことが、すべてかなうとい
うんです。そこで如意宝珠という。
「ノウバーサッタナンーサンミャクサンボダクチナン・タニャターオンーシャレ
イーシュレイージュンテイーソワカ」
このご真言は、如意宝珠と同じことである。だから、心に願うことは、どんなこ
とでもかなわないことはない。そして、もろもろの大難が、一切襲ってこない。
そしてそのあとに、すばらしいことが書いてある。
「若し我れ誓願大悲の裡一人として二世の願を成ぜずんば我れ虚妄罪過の裡に堕し
て本覚に帰らず大悲を捨てん」
この仏様は、二世の大願を立てている。二世というのは、現世と来世と、二世に
八わたって救うという、そういう誓願を立てている。
これはどういうことかというと、現世で寿命が尽きて死んだ場合、来世において
かならず成仏するという救いの言葉です。死んだ後のことまで心配してくださって
いる。即身成仏という言葉があるけれども、来世においてかならず成仏する、かな
らず極楽往生するぞと、死んだ後のことまで心配してくれている。至れり尽くせり
ですよね。もう何も心配することはない。
人間は苦労性であって、くよくよ先のことを案じている。先のことなんか、だれ
にもわからないんですよ。どうなるかわからない。一歩外に飛び出した途端に、自
動車にぶつかって死んでしまうかもしれない。
しかし、それでもいいじゃないか。極楽往生疑いなしというなら、来世で極楽往
生すれば、これにこしたことはない。変な生き方をしているよりも、早く死んで成
仏してしまったほうが、よっぽど幸せだと思うこともありますね。
だからといって、わざわざ死ぬことはない。どうせそのうち、かならず一度は死
ななきゃならないんだから、それまで待てばいい。それまでは、この人生を楽しむ
ことです。如意宝珠をいただいているんですから、心のままに宝をいただける。希
望がかなうんですから、それを固く信じて努力する。それが肝心だと思うんです。
諸君は信仰していると言うけれども、どれだけ準眠如来を信じているか。私は絶
対信じている。私は過去何度か、命にかかわるような大難を救っていただいた体験
がありますから、私は絶対、信仰心に磐りがない。
かならず勝つ
一緒にご真言を十唱しましょう。
準祗功徳聚。「寂静にして心常に誦すれば一切諸諸の大難能く是の人を侵すこ
と無し。天上及び人間福を受くること仏の如く等し。此の如意珠に遇はば定んで
無等等を得ん。若し我れ誓願大悲の裡一人として二世の願を成ぜずんば我れ虚妄罪
過の裡に堕して本覚に帰らず大悲を捨てん」
ノウバ サツタナン サンミヤクサンボダクチナン タニヤタ オン
シヤレイ ジユンテイ ソワカ
それでは最後に、朔日縁起宝生護摩の合言葉を唱えましょう。
さあ、やるぞ。
かならず成功する。
私はとても運がいいのだ。
かならずうまくいく。
絶対に勝つ」
