元Blur のギタリスト。Blur は大好きなグループで、10年位前に大阪のクアトロで見たけど、レコード以上にロックしているなーと言う感じでした。で、その時がんがんギター弾きまくっていたグレアムの新譜ですが、すごくその時のライブを思い出させるようなロケンロールのりで、ローファイでいいです。彼のソロは今回初めて聴いたのですが、どうやら以前のソロとくらべて吹っ切れているらしい。大衆性への回帰は決して後戻りではないので、是非是非この路線でつっぱしってほしいです。ライブみたい！
夏は嫌いだけど、唯一好きなのはレゲエを聴くには、やっぱ夏！ということで久しぶりにこれ聴いてます。ボブ師匠の一枚といえば、私はこの「Uprising」です。何故かと言えば、世の中でもっとも崇高で、やすらかな名曲「Redemption Song」があるからです。この安らかな曲は、ボブ師匠の行き着いたひとつの終着駅なのかもしれません。（このアルバムは彼のラスト・オリジナル・アルバムで、この曲でアルバムは幕を閉じる）
