筆の持ち方２ 単鉤法（たんこうほう）Japanese Calligraphy Brush

鉛筆・ペンを持つ持ち方です。親指・人差し指で軸を持ち。中指で下から支えます。細字を書くときに適した持ち方ですが、大字を書く時でもよいです。

Hold the calligraphy brush like you probably hold a pencil. Place your pointer finger on top of the brush and your thumb on the bottom. Use your remaining three fingers to stable the brush. This way of holding the brush is good for writing small letters, but you can also write big letters using this style as well.

筆の持ち方

筆の持ち方は手のひらを丸くして力を抜き、感覚を指先に集中させて軽く握ります。手のひらにピンポン玉をやさしく握るようにします。

大筆は軸の中ほどを持ちます。

小筆は穂先から３～４センチ上を持ちます。

指の掛け方は「単鉤法」「双鉤法」の２種類あります。どちらでも自分に合った持ち方に慣れるようにしましょう。

「双鉤法」

この写真のように、親指を左からあて人差し指・中指を上からかけます。

薬指・小指で軸を下から支えるように持ちます。


大きい字を書くときに適していますが、細字を書くとき使う人もいます。

To hold a Japanese calligraphy relax your hand and cup it. Focus on the tips of your fingers. Feel like you are holding a ping pong ball with the palm of your hand.

If you are using a large Japanese calligraphy brush, hold it at the center of the brush.

If your are using a small brush, hold it 1.5 inches from the tip of the brush.

There are two methods to hold a Japanese calligraphy brush. The terms in Japanese are "tankouhou" and "soukouhou". Please feel free to use whichever style suits you.

Soukouhou Method:

Like you see in the photograph, hold the brush on the left with your thumb and place your pointer finger and index fingers on the top of the brush. Support the brush with your ring finger and pinky finger.

This methods suits writing large Japanese calligraphy, but there are people who use this method to write small Japanese calligraphy too.

正しい姿勢 Proper Posture For Japanese Calligraphy

「美しい字は正し姿勢から」
字を書くときの正しい姿勢は、スポーツで正しいフォームをとるように大切です。

肩の力をぬいてゆったりと座ります。（椅子でもかまいません）背筋をのばし少し前傾に構えます。前かがみになりがちですから、なるべく上体を起こして書くようにしましょう。

机の場合は、背筋を伸ばしたときに「へその位置」に机の高さがくることが理想です。

右ひじをわきからはなして書きます。左手は軽く紙を抑えます。

腰でしっかりと体を支えると腕が動きやすいです。





Beautiful Japanese calligraphy begins with proper posture

Just like proper form is important in sports, it is also key in Japanese calligraphy.

Relax your shoulders and sit in a relaxed position. You may sit in a chair if you like. Straighten your back and bend your body slightly forward. There is a tendency to bend forward too much, so be careful maintain only a casual lean forward. Open some space between your writing hand elbow and your body. With your other hand gently hold your paper in place.

When your lower back is in the proper position, your writing arm will move easier.

ナショナル・トレジャーを観にいってきました。

映画館に行ってみる価値はあると思います～よ。

映画は大好きですけど、全部を映画館に行っている時間もお金もないので。

水曜日の『レディースデー』を使って観にいきます。ある映画はDVDになるのまでまっていたり。

映画は終わって考え込むのは好きではなく『何も残らないで。ああ面白かった』で終わるのが好き。ジャンルは問わないで何でも。

漫画・ラブコメディ・サスペンス。

映画の後に『Outback ステーキレストラン』に寄るのも楽しみです。

普段揚げ物・ステーキは食べないけど、このレストランの「ブルーミン・オニオン」が大好きです。　名前からしてかわいいと思いませんか？

「花咲き玉ねぎ」なんて。

昨日は「チリ・ポテト」「クィーンズ・サラダ」「フィレ・ステーキ」「チリビーンズ」を食べて（もちろん皆でワイワイ分け合って）幸せ。
