BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- England's Paul Broadhurst was unstoppable at Harbor Shore's in Sunday's final round of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.
Broadhurst fired a best-of-the-day 8-under 63 and at 18-under 265, he claimed the Alfred S. Bourne Trophy and the second major championship win of his senior career to go along with the 2016 Senior Open Championship. It matched the best 72-hole score in tournament history first recorded here at Harbor Shores by Rocco Mediate in 2016.
The 63 by Broadhurst was also the lowest final-round score by a champion in championship history.
Tim Petrovic, who was tied for the 54-hole lead with Scott McCarron, finished second at 15 under, four strokes behind Broadhurst. McCarron, meanwhile, finished at 14 under and in tie for second with Jerry Kelly.
This latest victory was the fourth overall for the 52-year-old Broadhurst on the PGA Tour Champions.（ＰＧＡ）
