Hi Diane,
What a gorgeous day it is.
But it looks like summer is coming to an end in a week or so, I guess.
Are you taking a new Yoga class or, maybe, chi-gong class?
The other day, I happened to take a look at a GMO movie, which really makes me think twice---if not thrice---about genetically modified foods.
I was certainly moved by the movie.
So, as usual, I've written today's article about it.

By the way, I read Page 7 of today's "24Hours" papers.
It reads:
Living in a friendly community
may curb your risk of
having a heart attack,
a new American study has found.

In a study published in the "British Medical Journal," reseachers followed more than 5,000 U.S. adults with no known heart problems for four years, starting in 2006.
The average age of study participants was 70 and they all took part in the national Health and Retirement Study.
The reseachers said it is known that where a person lives can negatively affect their cardiovascular health if there is a high density of fast food outlets, violence, noise, pollution and drug use.
But they found living in friendly neighborhoods significantly decreased the risk of having heart attack.
The researchers noted this was an observation study, so no difinitive conclusions can be drawn from it.
But a strong support network of family and friends has been linked to better health, and having good neighbors may be an extension of that.
I don't think this finding is quite new at all.
It is all common sense, isn't it?
I'm really glad to live in a friendly neighborhood.
My neighbors on the same floor are nice and friendly.
So I haven't seen any doctor for these twenty years.
I haven't been sick in bed---not even a single day.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,...

Yes, it does make sense and it's good to know, especially because we both live in a friendly environment and it also helps to make up for not having an extended family around us.
Whew! Looks like we'll be okay.
Like you, I've been very fortunate to have been a healthy kid and a healthy adult ... not to say I've not been to the doctor, but nevertheless nothing big or serious, thank God.
Glad to hear from you as always.

Thanks for this GMO information.
I've sort of decided, though, not to worry about what I eat.
I eat well and healthy, I think.
And it's too confusing to spend time sorting out all the information out there.
It's overwhelming sometimes and the experts keep changing their minds it seems.
Ah, well, it will all work out in the end I'm sure.
