Welcome!
I am a Japanese woman who loves classical/rock music and dogs (the Japanese Chin breed). My name is Keiko.
The major purpose of this blog is to personally support my favourite musicians.
I like boy sopranos very much. As the boy I admire most is Harry Sever, this blog focuses on his recordings and writings; I sincerely hope this place will serve as an unofficial fansite for Harry Sever, providing a lot of information about Harry mainly to Japanese people.
The title of this blog 'Spine-tingling emotion' is the phrase Harry used in his article in the Oct/Nov 2005 issue of The Singer to describe the essence of true boy soprano performance. I believe Harry will allow his own words to be used by his devoted fan for her blog.
In addition, there are going to be talks on many other outstanding boy singers as well as great rock musicians of the 1970s to 1980s.
This blog is lovingly dedicated to Kurinosuke, my precious Japanese Chin dog, who passed away in June. He was, and still is, the beloved elder son to me and to my husband. Now we have Keinosuke (photo above), Kurinosuke's younger brother, a funny boy! He is going to join me to talk about Kurinosuke's sweet memories and, of course, about himself!
Lots of love,
Keiko
