Kanellが手掛けますので、只のコットンスウェーターじゃございません。
ブルターニュ地方の漁師さんの為に創業者のお爺さんが編み立てましたフィッシャーマンズスウェーター
になります。
現在ではイタリアのコットンを当時と同じ編み機で7ゲージで編み立ております。
この手合いは僕も皆さんもANDERSEN-ANDERSENでお持ちですよね。
ANDERSEN-ANDERSENとの違いはゲージ数も5ゲージと7ゲージの差がありますが、
ANDERSEN-ANDERSENより軽くて柔らかい着心地になります。
Kanellのニットは、PENN SARDINと云うネーミングになりまして鰯漁師が主に着ていたそうです。
（直訳ですと鰯の羽根飾りになりまして、フランスで最大の鰯の水揚げ地DOUARNENEZ漁港の隠語
だそうです）

着用されますと、こんな感じになります。
リブ編みですから、ジャストサイズで着用されますと、御自分の体型に沿って綺麗に
伸びてくれます。
伸びはANDERSEN-ANDERSENよりありますので、ヴィンテージリブみたいなサイズ感で
最初着用されるのをお勧めします。
注意点としては、ヴィンテージリブと若干サイズ感が異なりますので、ヴィンテージリブでSサイズの方は
XSサイズがベターかと思います。
僕がヴィンテージリブはSサイズでPENN SARDINはXSを着用しておりますので。

Kanell特有な肩の始末になります。
漁師さんが仕事で着用しましても縫い目などが肩に当たることがなく、おまけに
着垂れも防いでくれるのです。
（この特徴は肩からネックまでがひとつながりのパーツ構成になりまして現社長のお爺さんが
鰯漁師に頼まれて考案したそうです。
ブルターニュ地方は天候が変わりやすい地で日が照れば暑くて曇れば北風が吹き一気に寒くなるそうで、
鰯漁師は船の上でスウェーターを着たり脱いだりを繰り返していたそうです。
その当時のニットは伸縮性も少なくて肩の部分がボタン開閉になっており、着用するたびに外したり閉めたり
の繰り返しがあって気の短い漁師がお祖父さんに頼み作ったスウェーターが原型となります。）
