【大阪マリオット様から、アサイン。ロペス様をお迎え】

本日の日記は、お客様の希望で、英語併記をしました。



　　　【午前８時。大阪マリオット都ホテル。】

　　　（８：００ＡＭ　At the lobby
　　　　　　　　　on the 19th floor of Hotel Mariott )

　　　ここは、天王寺、

「あべのハルカス、１９階」

にあるホテル。

　　　今年、６月３日に営業に行って以来、実に４か月。
　　　やっと、初仕事。

The hotel opened last Jun.
The hotel assigned today's guiding job to me.
This is the first to give offer the hotel made to me.


　 ただし、ホテルへの入り口がわからず、うろうろ。

　One thing I was quit at a loss was
　 it's very confusing !
　There are a lot of entrances.
　 But all of them were closed.

　　

　　【結論】　：　マリオットには、地下から行くのがよい。
　　　　　　　　　なぜなら、エレベーターは、
　　　　　　　　　地上１階も、２階にも、止まらないからだ。


≪Conclusion≫ : 　　The decent entrance to this hotel
　　　　　　　　　lies on the basement floor.
　　　　　　　　　The elevator doesn't stop
　　　　　　　　　at 1st floor nor
　　　　　　　　　at the second floor.

　　【ということは】　

≪further conclusion≫

： There are at least two
　kinds of elevators.
　One is for Abeno-Harukasu building
　while the other is for the hotel.
　　

　エレベーターには、
　少なくとも、２種類あって、
　ひとつは、

　　「あべのハルカス」　

　用のエレベーター、

　そして、地下アプローチ型のエレベーターは、

　　「大阪マリオットホテル」

　用のエレベーターとなっている。

　　昨日、目印のために、ゴタは、
　　赤い帽子をかぶって、１９階ロビー、
　　インフォメーション・デスク前に立っている

I gave a piece of information yesterday

　　ではなく、本日のゴタのお客様が、やって来ました。



ご夫婦　 ：　Good morning ! Mr. Yamada !
　　　　　　　おっはよ～！山田はん。


山田　　 ：　Good morning｡Mr. and Mrs. errr
　　　　　　おはようございます。ミスターえーと・・・


　　　お名前は、ゴメスだったか、
　　　ゴンザレスだったか、ロペスだったか・・？
　　
　　　I wonder what their family name was ?　



　　　【教訓】　　英語では、挨拶は、
　　　　　　　　　相手の名前を忘れては、もう出来ない。
　 　　　　　　　 英語は、そういうふうに、出来ている。

You have to remember the names when greeting.
English way of greeting requires calling names.



ご主人 ：　My name is Gabe.
　　　　　　ゲイブですよ。


山田　 ：　Gave ? Of give , gave , given ?
　　　　　ゲーブだって？　ギブ　ゲイブ　
　　　　　ギブンのあのゲイブ？　　　　　　　　


奥様　 ： 　No. It's an abbreviation of Gabriel.
　　　　　  And my name is Maria.
                    How do you do？,, Mr.Yamada.

                     いいえ、ゲイブリエルの簡略型の名前なの。
　　　　　　私は、マリアよ。初めまして、山田はん。


山田　 ：　errrr How do you do, Maria　・・・san.
　               その・・ 　はじめまして、マリア・・・・さん



　　　【結論】　

　お名前は、Gabriel Ropes さんと、
    Maria Ropesさんである。
　しっかり、覚えて、あいさつしないよ～
　　 　



　　≪ＪＲ天王寺駅から、はるかに乗りました≫　　　　　　　　
　　　　　　　　　　

　天王寺から、乗り換えなしで京都まで、行けるのが、


 「はるか」。

　　　
「はるか」を検索してみると、
　　
　今が旬の「綾瀬はるか」が、一番に出てきます。

　　　


　　　ところで、運賃は、ひとり、９２０円。
　　　それに、特急料金もそれぐらいになります。
　　　さらに、座席指定が５００円。めっちゃ、高いでっせ。

　　マリアさんも、「terrible　」　と、うなっていました。

　　しやから、ゆうたやん。京橋で、京阪に乗り換えていくことを。

　　
      ≪We took Haruka at Tennoji Station.≫

     Try to search the word "haruka"
     and you'll get the page where it shows
     Ayase Haruka, charming actress in season.

　 By the way, the fare as far as
     Kyoto Station costs 920 yen per caput.
     And express charge is necessary
    for about the same sum .
    If reserved seat is added
    it comes to 2500 yen per head.

    Maria looked have a hard time
    to decide to buy or not.

    At long last we bought tickets
    to ride Haruka.

    And it was after about 1 hour when 
   we arrived at the Kyoto Station.

  ほして、１時間ほどして、京都に着きましてん。

　　　
　　　　　【タクシー乗り場】

　　正面口で、タクシーに乗ることになりました。
　　まず、最初は、「二条城」へ行きます。

We came to conclusion to take
a taxi in front of the station.
Nijo Castle was the first to go.


マリアさん ：　あれ、何？何ですのん？
Ｍａｒｉａ　 ：　What's that ?


山田　　　 　 ：　東本願寺さんです。
Yamada 　 ： It's Higashi-Honganji.


Maria 　　：　 He got she hang and z ?
マリアさん ： 彼が、彼女に・・？


Yamada 　：　 It's a Buddhist temple that
                         belong to the pure land sect.
ゴタ　      ：    お寺でんがな。浄土系の。


Ｍａｒｉａ ：　Very big !
マリアさん ： えらい、大きいなあ！


Yamada 　：　One of the biggest in the city along
　　　　　 　 with Nishi- Honganji Temple.
山田　　  ：　お西さんと、ここは、
                       京都でも有数の大きな寺でっせ。



　　 【二条城へ】


　　烏丸五条で、左折し、堀川通りまで。
　　そして、堀川通りで、右折しすると、
       二条城は、５，６分で、左前方に、
　　見えてきます。


　　We ran on the Karasuma avenue till the Gojo street.
       And turned left to the Gojo street.
       At the Horikawa avenue we turned
       to the right onto the Horikawa avenue.
       Only five minutes to go until we get to Nijo Castle. 　


　　　　【お城のキップ】　　≪buying the tickets≫

　　有人窓口で、買ってもらいます。
       料金は、おひとり、６００円。

　　その間、ドライバーさと、一緒に、
　　電動車いすをタクシーから、降ろします。

　　While Maria was buying admissions the driver
        and I put down the motor chair
        with an effort.


山田＆ドライバーさん　：　せーの。どっこいしょ。
driver & Yamada             ：     Ready, put it down !


Gabe　　　　　　 　 　：　Ｋindly please pass the cane !
ゲイブさん　　　　　　：    杖、持ってきてえな！　　


山田　　　　　　　　　： Here it is. the Cain who killed Abel.
                                             はい、杖（殺人者）、をどうぞ。


  　　　【唐門】

　　　　　伏見城から、移築した、桃山様式の唐破風の門。
　　　　　施した金箔の価値は、１億円になるとも、２億円に
　　　　　なるとも、言われています。

　　　　　The Karamon Gate was moved from
                  the Fushimi castle that was built
                  with the Momoyama style.
                  The recent  repaired gate is
                  abundant with gold leaves worth about
                  100 million yen or a million dollars.


　  唐門前でお写真。お客様同士、
     ここで、別のツアーのお客様と意気投合。
　 オーストラリアのお客様のようです。

      シドニーのお客様と、
　　山田側は、カリフォルニア。

　　ただし、二の丸御殿では、
       車いすの人の入り口が、別なので、ここで、
　　お別れ～。


　　After taking a picture or two,
       we went inside the Ninomaru Palace.
       They were enjoying talking with
       other people speaking English.
        Maybe they were Australian.

        We parted at the entrance to the Ninomaru Palace
        because there are two entrances, one for
        general people another for handicapped.



【大広間　Ｏh - hiroma hall 】


山田 　：　ここで、大政奉還が行われました。
　　　　　１８６７年１０月、将軍は、家来を集めて、
　　　　 　ここで、大政奉還を上表しました。

Yamada ： They held Taisei-hohkan
　　           ceremony here in 1867.
　　           Taisei-hohkan is a return of
　　           the political power to the Emperor.
　　           The man sitting that elevated tatami mats is
　　           the last Shogun, Yoshinobu
　　           who is now delivering speech
　　           that their feudal time is over.
　　           Subordinate warriors were summoned here
　　           from all over Japan.
　　           They are now listening to him as
　　           he is proclaiming the end of shogun's

   　【黒書院】

山田　：　黒書院です。書院というのは、
                  書院作りから、来ています。
　　　　　武家風書院作りなのですが、
　               武士は貴族の暮らしにあこがれていた
　　　　　せいか、真似て、取り入れました。
　　　　　
　　　　　先ほどの大広間でも、見た通り、
　              コーナーの机や、違い棚、折り上げ
　　　　　天井などに、その特徴が表れています。



Yamada：　These four rooms are called Kuro-shoin
　　              or black study rooms.
　　              Shoin was derived from the aristocratic
　　              style of living room.
　　              Partly because shogun adored the
　　              aristocratic style of life,
　　              there are a variety of aristocratic
　　              style is taken on.
　　              Staggered shelves,
　　              double folded ceiling corner tables and
　　              decorated sliding doors are
　　              some of the examples.


      【清涼園】

　　庭園に出てみました。
　　きょうは、屋外結婚式がるようです。
　   雅楽が鳴り響いて、厳かな空気が
　　流れます。

　　新郎新婦を乗せた人力車が、やって来ました。
　　そして、我々の前を通り過ぎ、
　    芝生の中に入っていきます。

　　どうやら、そこで、撮影のようです。

　　We took a look around the garden
　   to see there is a wedding ceremony
　　


　　二条城を出て、金閣寺に行きました。

　　After Nijo Castle, we went to Kinkakuji Temple.

　　　　【金閣寺　Kinkakuji Temple 】
　
　　金閣寺は、１３９７年、
　   室町幕府三代将軍、義満によって、作られました。　　　　

　   金の塊で、出来ていたら、いいのですが、
　   金閣は、かなり、薄い金箔を貼った舎利殿です。

　　その薄さ、１万分の５ミリ。
　    超ケチったイメージがあるが、これでも、
　　以前の金箔の倍の厚さなのです。

　　Ｋｉｎｋａｋｕji was built in 1397
　    by the third shogun of Muromachi
　    shogunal government,, Yoshimitsu.

   　Made of gold block ?
　   No, the pavilion is madeof wood.
　   Gold leaves are
　   attached on the surface of the walls.
　    Gold was pounded into 5th 10.000 mm thick.
　    Very thinly pounded.


　　金閣寺に、バリアフリーを求めるのは、無理。
　　庭園の石段のよこに、
　   エレベーターやエスカレーターがあったら、
　　それは、日本の庭園ではない。　
　　それは、池の鯉が、
　    モーターで動く鯉であるくらい、滑稽である。

　　よって、夕佳亭への上り石段の手前で、
　    引き返すことに。

　　　　「もはや、これまで～。」

　　白虎隊は、自害して果てた・・・ら、
　   あきまへんがな。
　　引き返して、次、行きまっせ～。


　　There's no use to claim toward
　    the garden that has no
　    elevator nor escalator !
　    Imagine the scene where there is
　    an escalator aside the stone step !
　    How comical spectacle it might be.
　   As comical as there are motor
　   carps in the pond.

　   So we turned back in front of
　   the flight of stone steps.

       "It's over." The Byakko team boys
        killed themselves by Harakiri.

       kill ourselves. let's go back !
