日本青森県むつ市にある菩提寺に行ってきた
I visited Bodaiji in Mutsu City, Aomori Prefecture in Japan
去年の8月に恐山に行くべきである妙な気がしてから
Since I felt something odd that I should go to the Osorezan last August
実行するのに1年がかかった
And it took one year to execute
恐山に泊まった3泊4日の間
During 4days and 3nights staying at Osorezan
何故に私が恐山に行くべきだという気になってたか
その疑問の答えを見つけた
I found the answers for the questions
-why have I felt that should go there
菩提寺院代の南直哉師は
Minami Jikisai who is Deputy of Bodaiji
『縁起は既に存在している
人間のかかわりによってそれが明らかになる』と言った
Said that 『Foretoken already exists
-and it becomes clear by human relevancy』
そのことを今回の21日間の日本滞在で検証できた
I could verify what he said during this 21 days staying in Japan
全ては決まっていたのだ
Everything was decided
だが、その縁起の流動に入るか入れないかは
However, whether can get inside to the dynamic fluency of Foretoken or not
縁起が発する声を聞けるか聞けないかによる
-depending on how can listen to the voice which emitted by foretoken
その縁起が発する声は
The emitted voice of foretoken
人間が使用する言語を持っていないため
感覚を極限まで澄ましていないと
聞くことはできない
Human can’t listen its voice unless make sensors extremely clear
because of it does not have a language which humankind using
人類が使う言語は
The language which humankind using
気候や風土による地域性に影響されるのだが
It is influenced by regional factors
-such as natural features and specific climate
人間の人為的な力では動かすことのできない縁起は
The foretoken that cannot be moved by humankind’s artificial energy
縁起自体が持つ慣性法則を持っているかも知れない
Maybe foretoken owns its own Inertia law
この21日間の日本滞在日程で
In this 21 days schedule staying in Japan
私は坐禅が切っ掛けで知り合った人々に直接会ってきた
I have met with people face to face who became to know
-through Zazen related and motivated with it
縁起の声を人間のことばで通訳したかったからだ
I met them because I wanted to interpret the foretoken voice
-into human languages
しかし、通訳できたとしても
But even if I can interpreter it
それが正しいかを検証する判断基準は存在しないので
-since there is no criterion for verifying whether it is accurate or not
正誤の尺度は使えない
-so, can’t be used measurement which true or false
南師が言うように縁起は既に存在しているならば
Like Minami says if there existed foretoken already
確かめることにより明かすことはできる
It can be revealed by confirmation
その縁起とは
The foretoken means
ある特定の瞬間に
At a specific moment
ある特定の人と
With a specific person
確固たる因果で
With a solid cause and effect
何故に
Why
その瞬間に
At that moment
その人と
With that person
ある言語を使い
By using a language
あることを話すのかが
Talking about a thing which
明らかになる―その力動のことであろう
Can get clear-it will be the energy force

今回は書くのに時間がかかった。
何度も書き直して
もう面倒になって
諦めかけた時
『縁起』という言葉を掴んだ。
書きたいのが多すぎたからか
想いが複雑すぎるからか
自分のスタイルが確立されたからか
何にしろ
結果的には
言いたいことに文字が追いつかない感じだ。
追いつかなくても
自分が始めた以上
自分で始末しなければならない。
自分が決めて
人を巻き込んだ以上
最後の最後を見せなければならない。
覚悟はどんなに弱いことばだろう。
覚悟は頼り気の無いことばだ
ただ
使命を作ってしまった以上
それを全うするーその気合を書いてみたかったのだが
部分の部分をちらつかせただけになってしまった。
全体は部分の存在無しでは
ありえることはできない。
分かってはいても
それらの部分が多すぎて
踏み出す一歩が重くなる。
For instance, ancient thinkers conceived of an "atom" and developed the first raw theories for really small things that made the material world. Of course, they didn't have a theory of the electron and nucleus back then - those came 5000 years later in the 20th Century.
Our description of the atom in the 21st century is still a theory. It is not complete. But that doesn't mean progress hasn't been made. We can build televisions and atomic clocks which wouldn't be possible without the theories.
We are still not sure of the dynamics of all the forces employed to make an atom. Indeed, only in the last few years have we found any evidence for the field which is Believed to give atoms Mass.
So, at any given time we interpret the information we have, and it can be a very good model of the phenomenon under scrutiny, even if that theory remains incomplete.
There are theories very likely to be "correct" in the sense they are on the right track, and theories almost certainly not correct. A good testable theory for the formation of the moon suggests it came from a chunk of the earth. There is another theory, told in children's stories, that the moon is made of cheese, which is a cute theory but not likely on the right track.
(Can one grow a lotus tree on the Moon? Well, who knows???...latest studies do suggest there is water in some of the craters!!!!)
In all levels of reality, perhaps the following is true: An interpretation, description or communication can be correct AND incomplete.
This allows for Development, which is not absolute. Good theories keep getting better and more accurate......a bit like a force that grows in strength as we near its source.
Everything that we might have a theory to interpret and describe it, existed before our theory.
And some theories describe things which have never been seen nor heard nor touched; and which may or may not exist.
It works both ways, which seems like a fair exchange.
「縁起の演技だ！！」
縁起は人がかかわる事に酔って（由って）沸き起こる波の波紋の如しだ。
意志「みずから君」が池に石を投げ込まない限り・・・
嵐を呼ぶヤカラがいない限り・・・
縁起が「おのずから」動く事はない。
縁起は誰かが「みずから」動く事に故ってしか出来上がって来ない。
出来上がったひとつの波の波紋と他の波の波紋が出合い、新しい干渉縞を創りあげていく・・・Newly made dynamics・・・だ。
縁起性善説は成り立たない。
縁起生前説も成り立たない。
縁起の風はKさんの「みずから」が巻き起こした心の現成だからだ・・・
生命体が「そうしたい」という意志から生じたものだからだ。
依って縁起はKさんの創作物だ（＝昔から定められていた訳ではない）。
縁起は主人公ではない。あなた自身が主人公だ。
が、しかし、人はこの世の主人公ではない。
縁起とは、
自然現象・天変地異・森羅万象の中に適応するために人間が思い付いた現象理解の方便だ。
人が縁起として演技しているに過ぎない・・・
注；もっとも縁起様様だと思って居た方が気持ちはラクだ・・・自分の行動倫理（原理）を根拠付けて規定出来、自分へ掛かって来る重圧を思い切れるから・・・・
あると思えば在るし、無いと思えばない・・・
なぜなら両者とも人と人の交わりから出来上がった概念だからだ。
時間＝時と時の間
縁起＝人と人を繋いで（＝縁して）起きる。
即ち人がいない世界では両者は存在し無い
疲れが一気にきたので、もうこれ以上コメントをする気力が残ってないです。
帰国してから
今までできなかった分を解決していきます。
自分が始めた以上自分で始末せねばならん！！
とか、そんな大それた「みずから」の身の処し方に強迫観念を持ち過ぎると自滅するかも・・・
もっと気楽に「おのずから」の事の成就、時の成就を「おのずから的縁起」に任せてしまうという水平思考も成り立つようだ。
「最後の最後」は色々な形がある様だ（あれがダメなら此れがある・・・）。
重い使命感は時には役に立ち、時には役立たずだ。
踏み出す一歩が重ければ、軽やかに踏み出して重荷を減ずればよい・・・
気負い込み過ぎに心を砕く時代は過ぎた・・・
しばらく休題！！
自分の心に
最早動かない固く依るべき
或る不動の信念が芽生えた
と言う事で在るなら
それは『信仰』を得たと言う事なのでしょうけど？？
信仰者特有の真剣な目・・・確信そして気迫！！
21日間の日程をクリアして今日の6時の便に乗ってボストンに向かいます。
信仰、私には縁が無いようで仏教の教えで導かれたからどっかに縁があるでしょうね。
ですが、信仰は持たないようにしたいです。
信仰から自由になりたいですから。
これからチェックアウト準備をするので
細かいことは帰国してからにします。
