。。。納得!!

Very interesting Post.
The level of detail in your notebooks shows your concentrated effort. Very impressive.

It is interesting to note we first corresponded in August of 2013.

I will offer a few observations about relativity. Much or all of this you already known Keiren. But, perhaps you will find the following examples fun and enjoyable.

Mr. T is also welcome to enjoy the following:

Time and Space are joined by Einstein into a singular fabric of the universe called "Space-Time."

While it is hard to intuitively grasp relativity and some of its phenomenon, such as time dilation, etc., we get a hint of the connection between Space and Time in our ordinary lives.

As Neil Degrasse Tyson explains in his excellent lectures, whenver we schedule a meeting we specify the place and time of day. Or, as scientists would say, we mark the space coordinate and time coordinate.

Relativity tells us that there is no special or accurate rate at which Time flows.

Each of us, and each object in the cosmos, has its own clock, and Time will tick at a different rate based on our relative situations.

For instance, if I am moving faster that you, time will pass more slowly for me relative to you. This is not speculation. Einstein's theory has been confirmed by atomic clocks in orbit around the Earth. Satellite GPS would not work unless our electronic devices account for the relative time difference (the difference in the rate time passes) between the Satellite in orbit and the person on the ground trying to find the correct road.

There are a number of things that can effect the rate at which time will pass for us relative to others. If I travel away from the earth at 90% of the speed of light and return for what is to me one year, your clock will have passed much faster and you will have aged 50 or 60 years, while I have only aged one year.

There is no absolute Time anywhere in the universe.

This is similar to Isaac Newton's discovery that there is no absolute Space.

Assume that I am standing on a train with many windows traveling at 50 kilometers per hour and I am bouncing a ball on the floor of the train and catching it. To my spacial reference, the ball will be bouncing straight up and down and will have no lateral movement.

Assume you are standing next to the train track and see me bouncing the ball through the windows of the train. From your spacial reference the ball will have lateral movement equal to the speed of the train and will not appear to be bouncing straight up and down as you watch me go by.

Newton showed us that there is no special or correct area of Space in which to measure speed and motion.

Both measurements of the ball: mine that it has no lateral movement, and yours that it has lateral movement in the direction of the train, are abolutely correct. The same phenomenon (the bouncing ball) but two different and accurate measurements of motion.

I always found Newton's rule: There is no special area of space to measure the motion of objects....to be very helpful to grasp the meaning of Einstein's relatively.

Essentially, what Einstein did was apply Newton's rule of Space.....to Time!!!!

Just as there is no special or accurate area of Space, there is no special or accurate rate of Time. It is entirely arbitrary.

This copy and paste is relatively quick. :-)

A really fascinating aspect of Einstein's Relativity is that the proximity of a person to a gravity source will change the rate at which Time passes for that person.

If I am standing on the Earth, which has mass and is obviously a gravity source, Time will pass for me at a rate dependent upon how close I am to the center of the Earth.

Astronauts in orbit around the Earth are father from the center than those of us standing on the ground, so Time passes at a slower rate for the astronaut compared to the rate at which it passes for those on the surface.

The bigger the mass, the greater the difference in relative Time.

Finally, if a person could travel at the speed of light, time would stop entirely. Their past, present and future would appear to unfold in an instant.

This was one of Einstein's great thought experiements: "What would I see if I rode my bicycle through town at the speed of light?"

So, can we travel at light speed?

Einstein tells us the answer is "no".

The reason for this is the other side of his relatively theory, the equivalence of mass and energy.

As one adds energy to accelerate their body, their mass increases. This is proven by E=Mc2. Add more energy on one side of the equation and one must add mass to the other side.

It turns out that to accelerate a mass to the speed of light one has to add increasing amounts of energy. To reach the speed of light the mass grows to infinity.

Therefore, while photons and other force carrying particles can travel at the speed of light, we humans can not. If we could, time would stop for us at that speed and all events would occur instantaneous...
