"A hand band sander (10), comprising a housing (12), which carries an on/off switch (16) as well as an electrical connection (18) and which accommodates a motor and a gear unit for rotating an abrasive band (20), which is guidable by means of a heel of a guide shoe (33), which heel defines the flat working surface of said abrasive band, is easily and quickly convertible for fine machining small parts in that the hand band sander (10) carries at least one externally accessible threaded bore (102), into which may be screwed a clamping screw of a subframe, by means of which clamping screw the hand band sander (10) is fixable to the clamping side of the subframe."
