Another nice spread. My new edition/translation (co-edited with Michelle Cheyne) of Balzac's early play Le Nègre is now out in hard copy. Special thanks to Anne-Marie Baron for facilitating our access to the Bibliothèque de l'Institut (wonderful memories of seeing Balzac's handwriting on the page for the first time...), and to Kay Chadwick for overseeing such a sharp addition to the Liverpool Online Series.
