This month's sesion for the "英語で話そう会" was held on October 14 with a discussion topic, "Bucket list". The session was led by Hojo san.
The bucket list is a list of things that you want to do before you passed away.
Many do wonder why it is called "bucket". Some say it comes from the phrase "kick the bucket" which means to die.
So much for the origin of the phrase, here are some of bucket lists that are presented from the members. Take a monent to go through, you might find ones that you like to include in your list.
- Travelling
to see Aurura in Canada
to see a sky full of stars
to China, Italy to appreciate ancient history - Achieve a hole-in-one in Golf
- Keep cheering for Yokohama F Marinos at the stadium
- Play a music piece on piano composed by Handel
- Meet a creature from outer space
- Participate in a survival game to be able to live on my own
- To attend grandchildren's Waseda University Entrance Ceremony
