旅の支度-Packing for travel

旅行は計画する時が一番ワクワクする。
=The best part of excitement of travel is the planning.

場所を決める時は、
=When decide where to go

まるで何でもできるような
= it is like almost can do anything,

地球上で見下ろすような
= likely looking down the earth from above

大胆な気持ちにもなる。
= even can feel bold.

グーグルであっちへズームしたり、
=Googling with zoom here and there,

イヤイヤ、そっこへ行くなど
= no, nope, I will go there or elsewhere

国内旅行でもグーグルマップを使って
= use Google map even for domestic travels

大げさな始まりになるのだ。
= it gets into a bombastic beginning.

場所が決まれば、予約の段階に入る。
=Once the location is decided, step into booking.

それがややこしい。
=That is not easy.

ボタン一つでOKできるよにはいかない。
=It does not work with one click.

けれど、幸せな面倒なので何時間も続けられる。
=But, can continue for many hours because it is happy troublesome.

予約がやっと済んだら、
=When the reservation finally done,

旅支度だ。
= the packing.

本番である。
= the main part.

何を持って行くか、何でか、必要か、もしかして使うかなど
=What to bring, with which, why, if needed, perhaps needed etc.

学校での試験より頭をフールに使う。
=Using brain fully than taking an exam at school.

勉強より集中するのだ。
= concentrate more than when study.

何時間も何時間も悩みながら荷物をバックに詰めて
=With struggling pack case for hours and hours

また、忘れ物が無いかチェックまで念入りだ。
= moreover, do checking carefully if there is left behind.

旅行を重ねれば重ねるほど、
=As the travels getting much more,

その過程が効率的になっていくのは学習するからだ。
= the process goes along efficiently because of learning from it.

旅路で結局は一度も使わないと知るには、
=To know something never used for the travel,

行ってみないと分からない。
= never know unless went there.

実際、旅行はがっかりすることが多かった。
=In fact, travel was often disappointed.

写真は実物よりきれいで
=The photos are greater than real

ホテルのサービスは実際受けるより読む時が良い。
= better feeling to read than actual taking the Hotel services.

期待したイメージより良かった旅はまれだ。
=It is rare the travel image that better than expected.

これらの旅支度過程は
=These processes of travel packing is

坐禅を行う過程に似ているかもしれない。
= it might be similar with the process of performing meditation.

期待以上でも
=Over expected,

期待以下でも
=Under expected,

たどり着く場所は既に決まっているのだ。
= the place to go is already decided.

たが、行ってみないと本当は分からない...
=But, unless go there actually don’t know the real…

坐禅も行ってみないと分からない...
= zazen-meditation neither know if don’t do actually…
