無は空なのか

Nothingness is emptiness?

坐禅の基本概念は無を認知することだ。

The basic concept of zazen is recognizing of nothingness.

無＋無＝空

Nothingness + Nothingness = Emptiness

の式を立てることができる。

Can be formulated the equation.

ならば、

If so,

無とは何たるものかを明かさなければならない。

It should be confirmed what on earth is nothingness.

無を明かすことができるのであれば

If can proof the nothingness

空を説明できるだろう。

-could explain the emptiness.

私が坐禅を研究しようと決心したその瞬間から

Since the moment, I made decision to study zazen

無縁であった人々との関りが

-the none relationship with some people

有縁になってきた。

-has become being related.

その中で前回書いた知人Tとの縁は

Among them, the related friend T who I wrote about him on last entry

私の期待を遥かに超えるエネルギーを放っている。

-the relationship with him is giving off energy that far beyond my expectation.

最近その知人Tから次元について

工学者視点からの理論と論拠を教わっている。

Recently I have been taking a lecture from him about dimensions

-of the theories and rationales based on his viewpoint as an engineer.

知人Tの説明によると

Per the explanation of friend T

‘次元’とは変数の数を指し

Dimension refers to the numbers of variables

‘次’は変数の複雑性を指すという。

‘sequence’ refers to the complexity of variable.

3次元方程式は地球上の全ての変数

縦、横、高さを表してるらしい。

3-Dimensional equation represents all variables on the earth

-that Length, Width, Height.

また彼は、時間は４次元世界で変数ｔとして組み入れ

He also explained, Time variable is accorporated as ‘t’ in 3-dimensional space,

４次元方程式 ax +by +cz + dt + e=0 が成立するという。

4-Dimensional equation ax +by +cz + dt +e=0 be established.

知人Tの次元講義を理解しようと何回も読んでいたら

While I was rereading many times to understand his lecture of dimensions

ゼロについて疑問が湧き

-has sprang a question of zero

それが無と空の連想につながったので

-it led me to the association of Nothingness and Emptiness

私流の無空論を書いてみようと思うように至った。

-I have reached to think writing about my style of Nothingness-Theory.

とりわけ、仏教の論法やお坊さんの法話の説法などは

Particularly, the arguments of Buddhism or the preaching of ray sermons are seemed

私のような普通の人には

-the ordinary people like me

絵に描いた花のように

-it is like a flower drawn in a painting

匂いすら嗅げない無機物であるが故に実感できない。

-I can’t feel nor can even smell because it is an inorganic matter.

だが、自ら疑問を持ち

However, have doubts on my own

自ら気づき

-aware by myself

自ら感じ取った感覚は

-the feeling I have felt on my own

自らの身体細胞と結合し

-it combines with body cells

やがてはDNAになっていく。

-eventually it will become DNA.

なので偉人達の無や空についての説法を引用せず

Therefore, I won’t bring great men’s quotations

-about preaching of Nothingness or Emptiness

理に適わない自己流の無思想を明かすことに徹する。

-I will devote myself to revealing my own idea of Nothingness

-which would be irrational.

では、無は空なのかの明かしに戻る。

Then, back to revealing whether Nothingness is Emptiness.

無を煩悩から離脱した悟りだと仮定すると

Set a hypothesis that the Emptiness is the enlighten breakaway from lusts

煩悩を無くし、マイナスしていくに連れ

-as reducing lusts, keep minus it

やがて煩悩の無いゼロ時点に達することができる。

-eventually can reach the zero point where no turbulences.

有の煩悩－有の煩悩＝煩悩の無（ゼロ）

Added lusts – Added lusts = No lusts (zero)

つまり

Therefore,

意識の無化＋意識の無化＝意識の空化（悟り）が成り立つ。

None conscious + None conscious = None of consciousness (enlightenment) can be established.

このことから

With this form

坐禅を通して煩悩を無くしていけば

-by reducing lusts through zazen

煩悩の無い＝ゼロ煩悩（ゼロ次元）

No turbulence = Zero turbulence (Zero-Dimensional)

無は空であると言える。

Can say Nothingness be Emptiness.

だが、あくまでも身勝手な解釈に過ぎないので

However, it is merely a selfish interpretation

真剣に研究し直し

-needed seriously researched

科学的なデーターでもって

-with scientific data

立証できるようにしていく必要があるのは明らかだ。

-it is obviously needs the necessary to make proven.
