悟りの時空間-Enlighten Space

悟りはどういうことか。

What the hell is enlightenment?

凡人の私は未だにその実体を見たことがない。

As a normal person, I have never seen its form so far.

感じたことさえない。

I have never even felt.

だが、イメージは微かにあるのでそれについて書きたい。

However, I have a slight image of it so I want to describe.

坐禅をやり始めた頃

When I have started to do zazen

悟りの境地がどういう状態か知りたくて

I wanted to know what the state of enlightenment is

文献やネットを探し更けた時期があった。

I have had searching time for all from literature and net.

その中で一番、分からなかったのは

What was the most difficult thing for me to understand was,

仏教のお坊さんが書いた解説本であった。

-the explanatory books written by Buddhist monks.

読めば読むほど

The more I read

私なんかは悟りを理解するのは不可能だと思わせたからだ。

-the books have let me think that

-it is impossible for me to understand what enlightenment is.

まず、その本の厚みからしてみても

First of all, the thickness of those books

悟りの状態を描くのには量が多すぎる。

-the volume is too much to draw of enlightenment.

しかも中身はほとんど偉人がこういったとか

Moreover, the contents are mostly quoted great men said this and that

その意味はこうだ、そうだのような説明の連続だ。

-the explanation of the meaning continues as such like this or like that.

説明する自体、読み手は無知であると決めた大前提がある。

The explain itself, there is major premise that readers are ignorant.

それでも私は無知であるが故に

Still the reason of being an ignorant as I am

作者の話の流れに沿って気持ちを寄せるのだが

-I try to get close my feeling to the writer’s plot

大部分の本は言葉自体難解なので

-most of the books are written by words that hard to get the meaning

難しい漢字が出てくる度に

-every time difficult kanji comes out to read

言葉の意味も分からない自分に情けなさを感じては

-I felt sorry for myself because I couldn’t know even the word’s meaning

気分が落ち込み

-then my mood gets upset

読む気を失わせる。

-it lets me lose keep reading.

こういった個人的な知識不足から

From these personal lacking-knowledge

本や作家からの悟りの解釈を

-the interpretation of enlightenment on books and writers

お茶のようにまた煎じることは私には意味が無い。

-it is meaningless for me to likely making a tea again.

私のイメージとしての悟りは

My image of enlightenment is

自分の無を見ることだ。

-to see the nothingness of myself.

自分はあるが死によって元の無に帰化する。

-I am naturalized but naturalized to nothingness due to death.

無から由来した無が

The nothingness came from nothing

無の存在だということを認める。

-it recognizes that as an existence of nothingness.

死も無の一部として存在する。

Death also existence as a part of the nothingness.

生は死の刹那であると認める。

Recognizing life is the momentum of the part of death.

この世にゼロが存在する事実と同じく

Likely the existence of zero in this world

ゼロの全貌を見せることはできない。

-the fact that cannot shown the zero’s full picture.

だがゼロは検証できる。

However, zero can be verified.

なので

Therefore,

そのゼロ時点に至り

-reach to the zero point

それから果てしなく続く

-after then continuing endlessly

マイナスの世界へ下っていける。

-will be able to go down to the minus world.

量子物理学のひも状の根源にたどり着く。

Can reach to the form of string in quantum physics.

その素粒子物理学が数式や活字で現れるのと同じ原理で

Based on the same principle appears

-in mathematics and elementary particle physics

目に見えない無を認めれば

-if recognize nothingness that invisible on eyes

自ずと悟りのイメージが掴める。

-can grasp the image of enlightenment.

つまり

Therefore,

無＋無＝空　なのだ。

Nothingness + Nothingness = Emptiness
