ＡさんとＢさんは近くにいます。ＡさんはＢさんに少し離れたところにあるものを取ってきてと頼みます。

～をとっていただけますか？




AさんとＢさんは近くにいます。２人がいる部屋にはいくつかの椅子があります。ＡさんはＢさんに隣の部屋にある椅子を取ってきてと（持ってきて）と頼みます

Would you please go get (me) another chair from the other room？

＊日本ではキャリーバッグなどのイメージがあるので、カートやキャリーバッグを引いたり押したりしているのを　carryと勘違いしがちだが、カートを押す場合はpush
底に車輪のついたカバンは　rolling suitcase　という

He is carrying his bag.　　彼はバッグを持っている（もって運んでいる）
＊carryには動きがある

He is holding his bag.　　彼はバッグを持っている（もって立ち止まっている）
＊holdは止まった状態で物を持っているとき

You sould lift this.　　これを持ち上げた方がいい

You should put it down.　　それを下ろした方がいい

put down　⇔　lift (lift は　lift up　と意味は同じ）


【be surprised at, be surprised by / be disappointed by, be disappointed with　など形容詞＋前置詞の復習】

I was surprised at ～　～に驚いた。（そのものに集中したイメージ）
