先週就業ビザ取得のため日本に一時帰国していた。ウィンドサーフィンの道具はそのまま江の島の艇庫に置いてあるので、バスタオルを持って行くだけでいつも通りにウィンドをすることができる。 上海に戻る水曜日に少しの時間だったが海に行ってウィンドを楽しんだ。 午後から風が吹いてくるという予報が出ていたが、２時には終了しなければ帰りの飛行機に乗り遅れてしまう。 正午になってもまだ風が吹いてこない。風よ早く吹いてくれ～という祈りが通じ１時７分になって急に南風が吹き始め６．５Ｍ２のセールにいっぱい風を受けると艇は疾走しプレーニング状態に突入。２０分位すると風が強くなりすぎてもはや６．５Ｍ２のセールではセーリングが苦しい。大急ぎで５．３Ｍ２のセールに張り替え２，３本かっ飛ばしたところでタイムアップ。道具を片づけていると風に誘われてウィンド仲間がやってきた。 彼らは自由業ではないのに、自由人だ。 会社とどうやって折り合いをつけているのか気になるが、世間の常識にとらわれず自分にとって大切にしたいものを優先している。 与えられた人生の時間は人それぞれ長短の違いはあるが有限であることは間違いない。その限りある時間を自分にとって最高に満足できるような形に切り分けてゆくことができる人こそ人生の達人だと思う。もちろん趣味だけでなく仕事、家族、健康や経済的なこととかそれらのことも含めてトータルで最高の満足ということなので人生の達人への道は結構難しい。
