おしえる-----> say, tell, teach, show

英語を教えて-------> Please teach me English.

彼は英語で「Good morning」 を子供達に教えた（言った）-------> He said "Good morning" in English to the children.

彼は私たちに駅で会うと言った-------> He said he would/ will meet us at the station.

あなたは時々、自分の電話番号を忘れますか---------> Do you sometimes forget your telephone number?
あなたはたいていイーメールを作るためにコンピューターを使いますか---------> Do you usually use your computer to make emails?
食べるために箸を使いますか-------> Do you usually use chopsticks to eat?
歯を磨く------> brash your teeth.
手を洗う--------> wash your hands
手を拭く--------> dry your hands.
化粧をする-------> put on makeup
彼女の年のせいで彼女はもう化粧をしない----------> Because of her age she doesn’t wear any makeup anymore.
この靴を履くのは10年ぶりです（この靴は10年も履いていません）--------> I haven’t worn these shoes for 10 years.
身に着ける（現在、過去、過去分詞）-------> wear-wore-worn
ボロボロ、擦りへらす、疲弊している、飽きさせる-------->worn out
たびたびの訪問で歓迎されなくなる（嫌われる）--------> You have worn out your welcome. (直訳：歓迎をすり減らす）
根負けする、疲れさせる-------> wear down
彼女は私を根負けさせた---------> She wore me down.
【宿題】be 形容詞
どういうわけかこの部屋にハエが入ってきて、頭の周りでブーンと鳴っていてびっくりしました。--------> I was surprised that somehow a fly had gotten into this / my room and was buzzing around my head.
私はオミクロンという新しい変異種を知りたかった------> I was anxious to know about the new variant called omicron.
（be anxious about～：～のことを心配している）（be anxious to～：(心配な出来事）～のことを知りたいと思う）

Find out ------> 情報を聞いて気が付く、知る。発見する
彼女がどこに住んでいるか聞いて悲しかった--------> I was sad to hear where she lived.
彼女が疲れているように見えて心配だった--------> I was worried to look she was tired.
公園で犬が私の方へ向かってくるのを見て怖かった---------> I was scared to see that a dog was toward me in the park.
お隣の裏庭に宝の箱がうめられているのを発見して、彼らは仰天した-------> They were amazed to discover that a treasure box was buried in their my neighbor's back yard.
