英語で話そう会 9月例会のご報告

This month's sesion for the "英語で話そう会" was held on September 9 with a discussion topic on the most popular singer in Japan, yes,  the late Hibari Misora. The session was led by Fukuda san.

Misora Hibari was, believe it or not, born in Isogo-ku, Yokohama city and also her grave is located at Hibino Cemetery park, which is also in Yokohama city. She was a person with a perfect pitch and never missed a tone while singing.

Also her dark side of her life, her drinking habit and her brother's connection  with Yakuza gangsters were also shared among the members.  

I was really stunned that everyone had so many things to say about Hibari Misora. No wonder she is still consider one of the most beloved singers in Japan.
