先だってからの「秋についての英語表現」について
There are four seasons in Japan.
There are many unique expressions for each season.
There are many expressions like this especially in autumn.
For example, these expressions go like this.
●「一雨ごとに秋が深まる」
"Every time it rains we fall deeper into autumn."
●「日本人は虫の音に風情(Fuzei)を感じる」
"Japanese people feel the elegance in the sound of insects."
●「日に日に秋めいてきている」
"It has become autumnal day by day."
(先生の訂正→"Day by day, it feels more like autumn.")
●「朝晩めっきり涼しくなってきた」
"It became noticeably cooler in the mornings and nights."
”Fuzei"is like something sentimental ,elegant, tasteful and deep feelings.
It is a thoughtful philosophical sensibility.
(先生の訂正→It has deep philosophical meaning.)
It is impossible for me to explain this Japanese sensibility in English.
If I change it to English, 'sensibility' will be lost.
