I think that the government make scientific research a greater priority.
And I have two reasons to support my opinion.
Firstly, less research caused the disastrous accident of the nuclear plant in Fukushima area.
When the accident happened, the government called it the unexpected situation.
But, considering that earthquake is likely to happen around Japan, the government must have more research to construct nuclear plants.
Secondly, most people in Japan are in a lack of scientific reasoning.
People tend to form their opinion by the mood.
If public follows the mood that just does a matter which is good or not, people will face more difficulties sooner or later.
For these reasons, I believe that both the government and common people should more place the importance on scientific research.
