素敵な眺めとともにティータイム！

昨日は、お友だちのおうちにお茶に呼んでいただきました。
貴重なお招き、ほんとに嬉しかったです。
We had teatime at our friend's home.
I was so happy for the precious invitation.

わあ、ワッフルだぁ～！
ワッフルは、ノルウェーの名物。
この「ハート形・5枚」が伝統的なんだそうです。

Ｗow, it's waffle!
Waffle is a Norwegian speciality cake.
This one with five heart shaped leaves is traditional.



実は日本でも焼けないかなあ～、
なんて密かに私は町で型を探していたんです。
だけど、まだ私は５枚のを見つけてなかったので、感動！

Actually I hope I can make it in Japan too.
So I have been looking for the machine in the town.
But I have never seen one with five leaves yet.
So I was pleasently surprised!

焼きたては、最高！
かりっとして、美味しい～！
Just-baked waffle is the best!
It's crunchy and good!!


バルコニーで食べたら、また格別！
And eating on the balcony makes it even better!

お茶して、お喋りして。
ティータイムは、いつでも、どこにいても楽しいです～！
We drink tea with cake and talking.
I can enjoy teatime everywhere and everywhen.

私は英語でおしゃべりするには、まだまだなんです…
それでも、楽しく過ごせたのは、
彼女が話しやすい楽しい話題を提供してくれたから。
I need to improve my spoken English.
But I could enjoy yesterday because she talked about easy topics.

私も異国からのお客様をこんな風におもてなしできるようになりたいです。
I’d like to be able to talk with foreigners in my teatime as easily as she.
