今朝の空
雨が降っていましたが、4時40分時に目が覚めてもう30分~1時間ほど寝たいと思いましたが、もう眠れそうにありませんでしたので、5時15分頃起きて歩きに行きました。
当然、誰もいませんでした
今朝はちょっと
雨足が激しかったので、シューズがびしょ濡れになりました。
5時34分
今更ですが、教会の玄関の「お知らせ」を写真に撮りました。
御ミサが始まって行ったのはまだ1回だけです。
今日のきゅうりの収穫は4本。
2本お隣にまた差し上げました。
明日もまた収穫出来そうです。
～人生が私に微笑んでくれた瞬間 (The moment when life smiled at me) ④～
Decades ago, an elderly American priest came from a monastery in Fukuoka once a month to Okayama for meditation guidance.
He was full of love, and he said, "God is love," and he hugged everyone.
At one point, I told him about the words in the book.
The book was a saint's story, "Jesus said there are the adorable souls and those who are not." "I'm certain I'm not a God's adorable soul," I told the priest.
The priest who heard it said, "Oh, no, that's not true. You are the adorable Kogiku（Kogiku means a little chrysanthemum ) of Jesus."
I didn't think Kogiku was adorable at the time.
So, without any special impression, I got home, and my mother was holding Kogiku with both of her hands and said: , "Look, what a adorable Kogiku!"
Looking at it, I wondered, "Hmm. Is that so?" and I went to the church while questioning.
The inside of the church was all decorated with Kogiku.
After that, on the way to the Tohoku region, driving in a car with my husband, I noticed that Kogiku was in full bloom at the side of the road, and it was also displayed at every church I stopped by.
Finally we went to see the statue of St, Mary crying at Yuzawadai in Akita.
Of course, it was also full of Kogiku.
Also, much later, I knew that the priest's favorite flower was Kogiku.
Through Kogiku, God showed me love.
Since then, I've come to like it and have used Kogiku as my trademark.
もう何十年も前、福岡にある修道院から、毎月１回、岡山へ黙想指導に来て下さる高齢のアメリカ人の神父様がいらっしゃいました。
神父様は愛に満ちていて、いつも「神は愛」と繰り返し、皆を抱きしめて下さいました。
ある時、私はある本に書かれていた言葉について神父様にに話しました。
その本はある聖女の物語で、イエス様が彼女に「かわいい魂とそうではない魂がいる」と語っていました。
「私はかわいい魂ではないに違いない」と私は神父様に言いました。
それを聞いた神父様は「おー、いいえ、そんなことはありません。あなたはイエス様のかわいい小菊です。」
私は当時、小菊をかわいいとは思っていませんでした。
ですから、特別感銘も受けずに家に帰ると、母が両手いっぱいに小菊を抱えて「見て、何てかわいい小菊！」と言いました。
それを見ながら私は「ふ～ん、そうかしら」と訝りつつ、私は教会へ行きました。
教会の中は全部小菊で飾られていました。
その後、東北地方に夫と車で行く道中、道端には小菊が咲き乱れており、立ち寄ったどの教会にも小菊が飾ってありました。
最後に、私達は秋田の湯沢台に涙を流すマリア像を見に行きました。
もちろんそこも小菊で溢れていました。
又、ずっと後になって、私は神父様の一番お好きな花が小菊だったことを知りました。
小菊を通して、神さまは私に愛を示されました。
それ以来、私は小菊が好きになり、私のトレードマークとして使っています。
Today (July 7th) is Tanabana, but unfortunately it is raining.
In Tanabata, Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair) meet each other once a year, so we Japanese hope that it will be sunny.
Because it will be possible for them to meet if it clears up.
Prior that day, people decorate bamboo branches with paper strips called Tanzaku.
It is said that wishes come true by writing them on Tanzaku and tying them on the bamboo branches.
Tanabata is also known as the Star Festival and originated from the Chinese Qixi Festival.
~ Tanabata story ~
Once upon a time, there was Orihime, who was good at weaving, and Hikoboshi, the hard worker of a cowherd.
They fell in love, got marriged and started to live in harmony.
They were very close to each other and played and lived every day without working.
Seeing that, God got angry and separated Orihime and Hikoboshi by the river called Ama-no-gawa (Milky Way).
However, God who saw Orihime crying every day without being able to meet Hikoboshi, allowed them to meet each other only on July 7th, which is Tanabata.

今日（7月7日）は七夕ですけれども、生憎雨が降っています。
七夕は１年に1度、織姫（ベガ）と彦星（アルタイル）が会える日なので、私たち日本人は晴れることを願います。
晴れるなら二人が会うことが出来るからです。
その日の為に人々は竹の枝を短冊と呼ばれる長い紙で飾ります。
短冊に願い事を書いて竹の枝に結ぶなら願いが叶うと言われています。
七夕はStar Festivalとしても知られ、中国のQixi Festivalから発祥しました。
～七夕のお話～
昔あるところに、機織りが上手な織姫と働き者の牛使いの彦星がいました。
やがて二人は恋に落ち、結婚し、仲良く暮らすようになりました。
二人はとても仲がよく、仕事をせずに毎日遊んで暮らしました。
それを見て怒った神様は二人を天の川で引き離してしまいました。
しかし、彦星に会えずに毎日泣いていた織姫を見た神様は年に１度、7月7日だけ二人が会うことを許しました。
