監督の穎脱した伏線があちこちに鏤められており、度肝を抜かれました。
時間を操る構成力も見事です！
ケネディ大統領の射殺犯にしたてられたオズワルドと同じよううに
巨大な組織の陰謀に翻弄されて逃げ惑う主人公、青柳雅春（堺雅人）。
主人公の昔の彼女や大学のサークル仲間といった周りの人たちとの絆が
大きな役割を果たしています。

1966年8月に発表したビートルズの13枚目のオリジナルシングル。
ポールが出だしのメロディとデイシー・ホーキンスという孤独な登場人物を思いつきました。
名前をエリナー・リグビーに変更。
もうひとりファザー・マッカートニーという人物を考案したものの、父と勘違いされるのを嫌いマッケンジー神父に変えました。
形式的で形骸化されてきた教会へのシニシズム（嘲笑主義）が盛り込まれています。
