英語好きを自称していたが、結局外国人フェチというか人を驚かすのが自分は好きらしい。

最近ある職場で多くのネパール人と出会う機会を得た。

ネパールに公用語として英語も存在していると思い込んで英語で話しかけていたが、苦笑いするだけだったので、ネットで調べてみたら、公用語はネパール語だけであった。

ひとつ、ネパール人を驚かしてやるかと思い、ネットでいくつかのネパール語を調べてみた。

こんにちは、さようなら…はインドやバングラディッシュと同様ナマステ。

ナマステと声をかけると「ナマステ」と返してくれる。

コンビニのネパール人の店員に「サンチャイフヌフンチャ（सन्चै हुनुहुन्छ）（ご機嫌いかが？）」と尋ねたらバカウケ。
「ディディ、ラムリチャ（दाइ,दिदि राम्रि छ）（おねぇさん、かわいいよ）」と話しかけたら、
｢ネパール人の友達がいるの？｣と驚かれた。

その１時間後今日は彼が現場を仕切りますと、ネパール人青年を紹介された。

某の指示を受け、「フンチャ（हुन्छ））（ＯＫです）」と返事していた。

昼の休憩後、現場に戻って「カナカヌバヨ（खाना खानुभयो）（ご飯食べた？）」と聞いたら
「あなたは日本人ですか？」と聞かれてしまった。

機会あるごとにネパール女性の従業員に「サンチャイフヌフンチャ（सन्चै हुनुहुन्छ）」「カナカヌバヨ（खाना खानुभयो）」「ディディ、ラムリチャ（दाइ,दिदि राम्रि छ）」と声をかけたら
「誰が教えた？」と何人かに聞かれた。

ネパール人の現場はそれっきりだったが、昨日仕事帰りの電車内でネパール人女性と隣り合わせた。

「サンチャイフヌフンチャ？（सन्चै हुनुहुन्छ）」と尋ねると
「サンチャイチュ（सन्चै छु）」とニコニコ。
「カナカヌバヨ？（खाना खानुभयो）」と尋ねると
「ネパール語上手ですね？」とお世辞？
「アリアリ（अलिअलि）（少しだけね）」と返事をしたら更に驚いていた。

「ボクラギョ（भोक लाग्यो）（腹減った～）」といったらバカウケ。

別れ際に「ナマスカール（नमस्कार）（ナマステより畏まった挨拶）」といったら目を丸くして驚いていた。

知っている僅かなフレーズだけで、すごく楽しい気分になれたこの頃でした。

The other day I uploaded articles about herbal medicine coriander though, I post about nutmeg today.

Nutmeg is a kind of evergreen tall tree and the genus Monkran.

The place of origin is the Moroccan islands in Indonesia. It lives in a tropical jungle.

The height reaches 8 to 16 meters, there're sex of male and female. It's said that growing slowly is said to be more than seven years until it fruits.

You can harvest as many as 2,000 fruits from a tree. There's no season in the tropics, the harvest is done throughout the year.

Nutmeg fruits like plum. It'll be used its seed and peel of seed for spices.
