2011年5月に、パキスタンで米軍に殺害された、アルカイダのトップ、ビンラディン。アメリカの国家情報長官が、ビンラディンが最期に潜伏していた先で、彼が使っていたと思われる本棚にあった本を公開しています。日本でも翻訳されているボブ·ウッドワード「オバマの戦争」から、CIAやテロ関連の著作、更にはシンクタンクの報告書なども一定数は読んでいるようです。
しかし、陰謀論の本も置かれていることがわかります。 「イルミナティの血脈」のような本を、ビンラディンは読んでいたということです。
精密に調べている部分と、こうした陰謀論的な内容が繋がってくる、こういう意識というのは、テロ組織にはありがちな光景かもしれません。
