みみずを穴に落とす。

とは、コワイモノは見えなくしちゃえ、ということ。
ガーデニング中にこの間、初めてみみずに遭遇した。やはり怖くて、すぐそばにあったセミが這い出てきた穴に落としてしまった。ごめんなさい。
でもほんの数分、どうなるか見ていたら、みみずは出てこなかった。土の中に戻っていったと・・・思うのだ。
I put an angleworm in the small hole.

It means that it makes a scary thing not to be seen.
Around a week ago, I fell on an angleworm when I was gardening. I was scared of it so I put it into the small hole that a cicada got out of it. Sorry.
Seeing it for a while, the angleworm didn't come out. I think that the worm might have been back to the soil...
