ベンチに映った空、ですが。ここら辺は周りに少し緑があって、小鳥たちの声が聴けるだけ、マシですか…。

It's the reflection of sky on the bench. There are some trees and plants. We can hear birds' songs. Much better than ... other concrete places in the big city...

オサンポ walk - ツツジ咲いちゃう Azaleas blooming now

もう十月末
ツツジ咲いちゃう
お疲れさん

It's nearly the end of October
These azaleas are just blooming
Oh it's out of season

どこかの桜も咲いちゃって、とかをニュースで見ましたが、ツツジ(ですよね)は割と「え、今咲いちゃうの」が多い気がしているので、桜ほど珍しい現象ではナイかもです。風景に色味が乏しく季節、ニンゲンにとってはこの濃いピンク(？)、は目に楽しいですが、ツツジ本体の体力は大丈夫ですか？


I heard some Sakura bloomed in autumn, even it's out of season for them, because of the typhoons gave them wrong ideas for it. These flowers of azalea, sometimes blooming, not sure about the reasons though. This time, they are blooming, but it's out of season. I'm enjoying seeing the flowers but I'm worried about their bodily strength, if it got some damaged by doing.

オサンポ walk - 枯れ葉とカタバミとバッタ fallen leaves, a locust and oxalis

A group of fallen leaves

落ち葉の群れの中に、カタバミ(と思うのですが)がほどよく混じっていて、茶系と緑のコントラストが何気にいい感じかと思いました。
よーく見ると写真の中に、ショウリョウバッタと思われるバッタ君が一匹、いたりします。この落ち葉エリアに踏み込んだときに、ぴょんっと飛びました。踏まんで良かったです。


There is a group(?) of brownish fallen leaves, also some Oxalis mixed in. The contrast between brownish and green would be good to see.
If you look at the photo carefully, you could find a kind of locust. The locust jumped up when I stepped in the area. I was happy not to step on it.

新聞に紹介されていたので興味を持ち、図書館から借りて来ました。(いつものように本の表紙を…撮り忘れてしまったので、こんなことになっています)
いやはや、読んでいる間はこの世の憂さを忘れましたねぇ。次が気になって気になって。でも読み終わってしまった今は、忘れていた憂さが思い出されてきて…(よよよ)。

It's one of Japanese marvelous mystery books. The title is "The letters from my father". It's only in Japanese, I think.

成り立ちやいわれなど様々なパターンがあって、ほうほうと頷きながら読みました。出来れば…
こういう話は、一度読んだだけでは頭に入らないので、手元に置いて折々にその漢字についてだけ、とかしながら読みたいなあと思うのと、通勤電車の中でなくどこかゆっくり出来るところで…とかだといいですね。

We can learn about Ateji. It's only in Japanese. I enjoyed reading the book but in the crowded trains... from Monday to Friday, when I go to work. I wish I had time to read it at a cafe or somewhere cozy places...

コスモスの
花かと思い
秋を知る

I thought that
They are cosmos
So, autumn has come

コスモス、ですね。漢字で書くと、秋桜。と読めば思い浮かぶのが、山口百恵&さだまさしの「秋桜」。
と書くと、世代感出てしまうのでしょうか…。


They are cosmos, right? In Japanese Kanji (Chinese character), it's 秋桜(cosmos)。秋(aki) means autumn, 桜(sakura) means cherry blossom. Would you get it? One of singer songwriters(Masashi Sada) made a good song around over 30 years ago. It's title is 秋桜. Whenever I see or hear 秋桜, I remember this song, 秋桜.

絶妙な位置どりかな、と思いました。手前過ぎると、抜かれたり踏まれたり。奥過ぎると、日光や水が足りなかったり。
でもさて、ここでどれくらいの期間、生き延びられるのでしょうか…。会える間は時々会いましょう。草木たちのと交流も、ある日突然潰える、こと多いし、ですから。

I think that this Sukima-soh has chosen the good place to livd in. If it was too backwards, it would be short of sunlight and water. But it would be near side, would be stepped or pulled up by someone.
I'm going to see you whenever I pass by here. Sometimes it happens, one day, suddenly, we have to say goodbye each other.

黄色い花
秋の始めと
終わりに咲く

These yellow flowers
Blooming in the beginning of autumn
And around the ending of it

オシロイバナの、黄色バージョンだと思います。近くに白と赤紫(？)色も咲いていました。花期が長い印象のある花だとは思いますが、それにしても10月になっても咲いている…のは、普通のことなんでしょうか。

It would be four-o'clock, yellow flower version. Near that flowers, there were red and white ones. I think... this flower season is quite long time. But, it's already October. Is it OK that the flowers are still blooming?

路地裏を
通って向かう
職場かな

I'm through
The off-street
Then go to the office

都会の中に潜む路地。を発見してから、そのうちに通ってみようと思っていました。という事は、通り路ではないんです。が、そういう場所を見つけると、見たり歩いたり写真を撮ったりしたくなります。ということで。

One day, I found an off-street at Tokyo. I was going to walk on the street, I walked through it. It's not on my way to the office.
Whenever I find anything, not only street, but, I'd like to do looking, walking and photographing. So, I've done it.

桃色、ありました。添え物風の白色も。物陰のような場所だって気にしない、風、で咲いていました。

I also found pink ones, with white ones that was like appended. They are living in ... it doesn't seem to be comfortable, like a shade of building. But they look like lively, I believe they must not be care about that.
