The package used to be paper

*Mochi means sticky (soft) rice
*Taroh means a name for boy

そのままの姿でありますが(ですよね)、パッケージの材質は、いつの間にか変わっていました。
(中身は後ほど…)
餅太郎、そのお店では11円(税抜き)でした。

The design hasn't been changed (I believe), but the materials of its package has been changed. No idea when. (About the Inside... later)
This Mochi-Taroh was ¥11( not included tax, 8%), when I bought it at the supermarket.

猫三昧 Cat-loving - ：秋、の足跡 a footprint in Autumn

照る夕陽
猫の足跡
柿一つ

The evening sun is still lighting
There is a cat's footprint
And a persimmon

雨に湿った地面に柿の実一つ落ちていて、その横に猫の足跡の一つ。(狸ではないと思うのですが)
秋の、足跡がここにも。

The wet ground by raining, there were one persimmon and next to it, a cat's footprint there. (I don't think it's a raccoon dog)
Here is also we could find a souvenir, its footprint from autumn.

と、言っていますが、足跡は他にも…。

*mike means a tortie ［tortoiseshell］ and white cat
*neko means cat

猫がいると見て、向こうも見てるヒトがいると振り返って。へへっとヒトは愛想笑いをして、猫の方は無視するわけでもなく答えるわけでもなく、何となく左右を確認して。それを見てヒトは歩き出して。猫は目の端にそれを入れて。て。



When I found a cat, the cat also looked back then found me. I gave her a smile but the cat didn't do anything. Just made sure safe by looking at both side, right and left. I started walking after that, she glanced at me. At me.

前回の21号のときの暴風のせいで(？)、扉が開いてしまったようです。こういうのなんて呼んでいるんでしょう？ 電気ボックス？ ブレーカーボックス？ 数日後には閉まっていました。次にまた22号と呼ぶ台風が近づいて来ているようですが…何事もなくぷぅ〜っと去って行ってくれることを祈ります。

I found it opened the door. I guess that it caused by No.21 typhoon that passed by our areas last week. What should we call it? Electrical box? Breaker box? After a few days later, it was closed. We've been having next typhoon No.22, it's coming again in our areas. Please just "gone" without any causing problems.

オサンポ walk - スキマ草 : 壁に生きる living on the wall

I'm living on the wall
As a Sukima-soh

下から見上げるような高さのところに、草というか木が一本突き出ている。同じ壁の下方にいる別のスキマ草が、同じ風を受けている。二草はお互いを知っていて時々は会話を交わすことがあるかも知れない。「カラスが戻る時間か」「ですね」
日中は海に行っていたカラスたちが森に帰ってくる。まもなく本格的な夜になり、そしてまた陽が昇る。「今日は日が良さそうだ」「ですね」
壁の横をニンゲンたちが右往左往していく。



There is a big and high wall. At around high position of it, there is a Sukima-soh (or tree) that comes out of the wall. Under that Sukima-soh, there is also another one. They've got the same wind. They could have some conversations sometimes. "Is it the time the crows are coming back?" "I think so". During daytime, they go to the sea, come back to the forest when it is evening. It is soon going to be true night, then the sun rises. "It's going to be a lovely day today" "I think so". By the wall, many human beings pass by... to the right, to the left.

ここ傾斜の浅い坂道には片側に、程よい広さの畑があります。そのせいか空気が冷えてくるとこの辺りで、スズメの集団に会えることがあります。食べ物が少なくなってくる季節には、集団を作って不足問題を乗り切ろうとするスズメたちもいるとか。30〜40羽くらいいるように見えました。
このドングリの木(カシ？ナラ？？)は枝振りがよく、住みやすそうです。グッド！


Here is a shallow slope, at the side, there is a middle-sized field for vegetables. When we have a cold air in autumn, I sometimes see sparrows that have a group. When there is less foods, some sparrows try to make groups to solve that problems. There were 30-40 sparrows. The tree looks like kind of oak, that has acorns, would be a good house for the group. Good!

ホンヨミ Book-loving 「山怪 (弐)」Sankai No.2(spiritual creatures in mountains)

山に行かなくなって久しい…。ですか？ ハイキングや山登り、散策等で行く機会はあっても、山の近くで生活したり仕事をしたり…となると、一昔前と比べると、山との関わりが減ってしまっている、ように思います。そうなると、山にいる(と思われる)何がしかの存在、山で起きるあれやこれやのコト…などに触れたり経験する機会も同じように減ってしまう。山の中で起きることは、町の中でも起きる可能性はある(？)と思いますが、それをそれと分かるニンゲンの能力が町の中だと低めになってしまうような気がします。それは何故か？ 便利さがそういうものを必要とさせなくなるから？ 町の中では、自然の中で生き抜くために必要な能力がそれほど必要ではない…から(？)。
自然や動物が好きなことと、ほんのときたまではありますが不思議だなぁと思うことを経験するので、こういうお話にも惹かれてしまいます。この本で語られている何がしかを感じ取る感覚(感知能力？)などは、町で生活する日常の中でも、どこかに持っているといいのではないのかなぁ…と思ったりします。

Haven't you gone to any mountains? Hiking, climbing and just walking. We've still got many opportunities to go to mountains but less work and live nearby than the past days. Some people and I, believe that something like spiritual things or creatures ARE in the mountains. But we're not going there, so we don't feel nor find anything like that. I think something happens in mountains, it would also happen in towns. But our special abilities(?) that could feel... something spirituals, are getting less nowadays because when we live a convenient town, we wouldn't need it.
I love animals and natures. I have got some strange experiences. That's why, I'm interested in this book. (Sorry, this book is only in Japanese. These essays (short stories) are true. The author collected them from the people who work at or live close to the mountains. I'd like to keep(have) this kind of special abilities that could feel and know about other creatures in the mountains, even if we are in towns.

オサンポ walk - 秋、神無月の夕空 the evening sky in October in autumn

一過空澄む夕
標識はおでん串

After the typhoon gone
The evening sky is clear
The road signs became a stick of Oden

昨日の夕空は台風一過の後のせいか、澄み渡り、太陽光線が透けまくっていましたね。きれいな色を見つけると口が開いたまま見上げてしまうのでご用心。ところ構わずに写真を撮るので車にご用心。道路標識がおでん串に見える…とかって楽しむのもご用心(?)。

新月の次くらいの月とカラスも。

It was a clear and beautiful sky in the evening after the typhoon has gone. Whenever I find beautiful and colourful skies, I stare at them with my opened mouth. Should be careful to other things and people(snatching?). I'd like to photograph them, should be careful. I found that road signs looked like a stick of Oden(one of Japanese traditional foods that is like stewing foods). (A skewer of Oden) I enjoyed seeing them, should be careful(?).

There were also, the thin moon that was like after that the new moon and some crows.

一輪で咲いているのを、雄雄しく見るか、寂しいと見るか…。雄雄しくありたい、と願うけれど。「ありたい」と言い切れないのが現実。でも「ありたい」と思うならば、「ありたい」と思い続けていれば、「ありたい」ということになるのでは。

When you see only a single-flower blooming, what do you think? Virile? Lonely? I'd like to be "virile". But I wouldn't say that. If I'd like to be that, then if I kept on trying to be, it would be "virile"?
