「クロちゃん」とは、最近飼い始めた猫ちゃんのことで、そのお話満載の本かと思ったら、半分くらいは「クロちゃん」の話じゃなかったんですがでもそれも楽し、というような気軽な読み物でした。

The book is only in Japanese. 南伸坊 Shinbo Minami is an illustrator, essayist and cartoon writer.

秋探す
足元にいる
小さな赤

Looking for autumn
On the ground
I found red

探せばどこかに秋の気配が…。と、草むらの中に見つけたとき、思いました。きっと見つけているより、見逃していることの方が多いのでしょう…。残念。

If I seriously look for autumn, I will be able to find some of them... when I found the red in the bosquet. I thought so. I think that... to miss them than to find them... oh my goodness...

とある飲食店でお茶してましたら、窓越しにスズメの声が。覗いてみたら、二羽がチュンしてました。写真には一羽しか、参加していません。でも、「撮らせてあげようか？」的なふくらスズメさん、で嬉しかったので、連写してます。





When I was having a cup of coffee at the cafe, I heard sparrow' s singing, peeped outside, there were two sparrows who were eating something. When he(she?) jumped on the lamp pole, he looked like to show off to us. He was like a balloon, lovely, I was happy to photograph him. That's why, there are many photos.

ドクダミの
季節ではない
けど出てる

It's not their season
But they are showing up
Of the ground

ドクダミの葉？ っぽい双葉？ とか、見つけた気になりました。ドクダミですか？ それとも似たような葉を持つ何かか…？ ここ1、2日は肌寒い感じですが、その前までは、ドクダミが葉を出す辺りの雰囲気(気温)に、似てたのでしょうかね？


A yellow brown leaf a and smaller green one, are they doku-dami? Is it cotyledon? I thought so. Or, a plant that has the similar ones? Today and yesterday, a bit chilly but before the days, it's been mild. The temperatures and atmosphere are similar to their season when they show up of the ground?

秋色の
草を見て
秋来るや知る

I saw the plants
They've got autumn colours
Now I knew it's autumn

気温ではあまり秋を実感できずにいましたが、木々の黄葉紅葉を目にすると、ああそうなのか、と少し分かった気がしたりする、今日この頃です。秋は、難しい季節になってしまったのでしょうか…。

It was difficult for me to know that autumn has come from the temperatures. However, when I see the trees and plants that turned their colours, I understand it's been autumn here. Autumn, it's getting to be difficulty for me to know/understand if it's here or not.

季節外れに

九月の半ばごろに、見かけるイメージです。もう十一月も終わりというころ、ツツジの間からぴょんと顔を出していました。なんとも不思議な気分です。来年咲こうと思っていたのに、あまりに暖かいから出ちゃった系、でしょうか…。

I think, we could meet spider lily around the middle of September. It's around final week of November. Oh my. It came out of among the azalea. Why? The lily thought, I was going to bloom next year, but it's been warm, so, finally, I popped out of the land. Oh my...

Photograph sparrows

いた、よし、で、飛び散ってしまいますね。本当に雀をカメラで捉えるのは難しい…です。
下の芝生に、20羽ほどはいたような…。

They are there, good! Then, they fly away, always. How much difficult for me to photograph them ...
On the grass, there were around 20 sparrows...

日乗 diary - 河童の不思議 wonder of Kappa (one of mythological creatures in Japan)

河童かな
リアルの動物
に混じって

Are you Kappa?
You are mythological creature
But the others are real

「ミカヅキモモコ」という、¥300ショップ、ありますね？ ヒトにあげる用に買った、ねそべりクッションですが、これ、カッパですね？
他にも色々な動物のデザインがあったのですがみんな本当に存在している動物たちでしたが、このカッパだけ…妖怪ですね？
カッパって、なかなか川(河)で出会わなくなって、も、日常の生活に根付いていた…んですね？

It's from ¥300 shop, mikazukimomoko, it's a small cushion that you can use when you are lying. I believe, the design that comes from Kappa, one of mythological creatures.
There were other designed ones that from all existing animals. Kappa, is not existing animals, it's spiritual.
Nowadays, we haven't seen Kappa in any rivers (we believe that Kappa lives in a river), we used to see them. But Kappa would be in our daily lives? That's why, they come to us as a cushion?

オサンポ walk - 昨日は晴れ a fine day yesterday

昨日は晴れ
今日は雨
天気次第

It was a lovely day yesterday
It's cloudy today
It depends on weather

昨日晴れてても、今日は雨、ということはありますね。逆も然り。全ての生き物は、お天気次第、で生きてますね。

Even it was fine yesterday, it would be cloud today. It happens all the time, it's one of natural rules. All creatures (included humans) follow the natural rules, are we?

日乗 diary - 落としモノ 番外編:何か something

落し物
手袋落ちてない
寒くない

Lost something that belongs to someone
Never dropped
It isn't cold

今季…まだ落ちている(片)手袋に出会ってません。ま、落ちてなくていいんですが。あんまり寒くないですね？ 十一月だと言うのに…。なんだか台風も来ているって今朝のニュースで見ました。やれやれ。
写真には、ガードレールのスキマに、何か…ソフトメガネケース？ ぽいものが挟まっていて、誰かが落として、誰かが拾って、そこに置いたのでしょうね。

I haven't seen any dropped gloves in this season. Yes, it should be ok if it's dropped. (No one loses their gloves) It isn't cold very much? It's even November... A typhoon is coming toward Japan, the broadcast said in the morning. Oh my goodness.
In the photo, there is something black... soft glass case? Around the top of the crash barriers, have it stuck in there. Someone has dropped it then another kind person picked it up, put it there. I guess.
