あっと言う間に２月になってしまいました。
SHERLOCK 第二シーズンが放送されてもう３週間近く経ちますが、
未だにまったく興奮冷めやらぬ状態です。
特に最終話の筋書きには思った以上に胸が締め付けられましたよ…。
（UK版のDVDも無事届きました。）
第一話では比較的脇役に回っていたジョンですが、
最終話では第二話までのシャーロックとの関係を集約するようなやりとりが見られます。
マーティン・フリーマンの演技力には圧倒されますね…。
嗚咽を漏らしてしまうほど感情移入してしまいました。

モリアーティの仕掛けた周到な罠の数々…
あれだけの重荷をシャーロックに背負わせて、どうやって次のシーズンが幕を開けるのか興味津々です。
その第二シーズン。放送された３話だけでなく、
第一シーズンもちゃんと布石になっています。
その一つがスコットランド・ヤードの刑事たちとの関係です。
「A Study in Pink」で連続自殺と思われる現場を訪れたシャーロックとジョンを待っていたのは、
レストレードのようなシャーロックの能力を買って“招待”したい人間ばかりではないのでした…。

彼がこんな恨み節たっぷりのドノヴァンを旧友なんて呼ぶのはあえてなんでしょうか。
そしてシャーロックが本気で「ドノヴァンはアンダーソンの家の床を磨いていた」と考えているのか、
というところが、多少気になりますw
何故か？ファンに愛されている鑑識係のアンダーソンは、現代版では割と有能に描かれているレストレードの代わりに
スコットランドヤードの間抜け担当として活躍してますねw
この事件の被害者であるジェニファー・ウィルソンが現場に残していたダイイングメッセージ、
“rache”という文字について得意げに話すアンダーソンでしたが…

もっとも、元にされている「緋色の研究」では、被害者が残した"RACHE"がレイチェルではなくラッハという意味だった、
という設定なので、原作を知っている視聴者も「ラッハktkr」と思いながら見ていたはずであり、
まるで視聴者がアンダーソンで、Steven Moffatら作家陣に
「君たち、ラッハだと思ってたんでしょ？ バッカじゃないの？(笑)」と
ドアをバタンと締められたような…でも悪い気はしない、という不思議な感覚に陥りますw
現場を観察するシャーロックは、レストレードに対しても、

その腕前？に連れてきたシャーロックは少し得意げ。

聖典で描かれる通り、草むらを飛び回るフォックスハウンドの如く現場を嗅ぎ回るシャーロック。
しかし、現場にスーツケースは残されていませんでした。
これが連続殺人事件であると確信したシャーロックは、
「ピンク」が犯人の侵したミスだとレストレードに言い残し、
興奮気味に現場を立ち去ってしまいます。ジョンは一人残されたまま。
仕方なくタクシーを拾って帰ろうとするジョンに、ドノヴァンが声を掛けます。

会ったばかりで横柄なヤツだとは思っていても、間近で鮮やかに彼が推理する様子を見て、
簡単に彼を否定する気にはなれなくなっているのかもしれませんね。褒めちぎってるし。
そして、まさにこの第一シーズン第一話のドノヴァンとのやり取りが、後の物語に直結してくるわけですが、
それはただの同居人である２人が共に組んで難解な事件を解決し、
お互いを親友と自覚するようになってから語られるお話、というわけです…。切ない…。
次回は（予定通りにいけば）自称“シャーロックの友達に一番近い”（むしろ親を自認する）あの方の登場
…のはず。

「ピンク」が犯人の侵したミスだとレストレードに言い残し、
興奮気味に現場を立ち去ってしまいます。ジョンは一人残されたまま。
仕方なくタクシーを拾って帰ろうとするジョンに、ドノヴァンが声を掛けます。
Donovan
But you’re not his friend. He doesn’t have friends. So who are you?
あいつと友達？ そんなはずないね。どういう関係？
John
I’m…I’m nobody. I just met him.
いや、関係もなにも、会ったばかりだ。
Donovan
OK, bit of advice then. Stay away from that guy.
ならあいつには近づかないことね。
John

Donovan
You know why he’s here? He’s not paid or anything.
謝礼も出ないのに。あいつが現場に来る訳は？
He likes it. He gets off on it. The weirder the crime, the more he gets off. And you know what…?
好きだからよ。興奮するから。酷い犯罪になればなるほどね。

Donovan
Because he’s a psychopath. Psychopath get bored.
変質者ってね、退屈するもんなの。
Lestrade
Donovan.
ドノヴァン！
Donovan
Coming. Stay away from Sherlock Holmes.
(警部に向かって、)行きます！ …近づかない方が賢明よ！
ドノヴァンに忠告されたジョンは、それでも何となく納得のいかないような表情。
会ったばかりで横柄なヤツだとは思っていても、間近で鮮やかに彼が推理する様子を見て、
簡単に彼を否定する気にはなれなくなっているのかもしれませんね。褒めちぎってるし。
そして、まさにこの第一シーズン第一話のドノヴァンとのやり取りが、後の物語に直結してくるわけですが、
それはただの同居人である２人が共に組んで難解な事件を解決し、
お互いを親友と自覚するようになってから語られるお話、というわけです…。切ない…。
次回は（予定通りにいけば）自称“シャーロックの友達に一番近い”（むしろ親を自認する）あの方の登場
…のはず。
