祇園祭宵山 Gion Festival Yoiyama

京都の夏！
夏といえば祇園祭！
今夜は、宵山。大変な人出になる事と思われます。


私も、高校生時代友人たちと宵山に行ったはいいが
あまりの人の多さに具合が悪くなり、
駅で引き返したという苦い思い出があります（笑）

近年は、家族と出かけカマキリの乗っている蟷螂山（とうろうやま）を
見たりして帰ってきております。（ 動くのでチビ達に大人気（笑））

薙刀鉾（なぎなたほこ）や函谷鉾（かんこほこ）の立つ
大通りは大変なにぎわいなので祇園祭の鉾を眺めて楽しみたい方は、
比較的すいている昼間か、夜１０時頃がおすすめ。

この祭りが終わると本格的な夏が来ます。
鱧が美味しくなりますよね～（笑）

熱さには十分注意して夏を楽しんでくださいね。

おおっと！これは、新大陸ではなく、土練機の口部分でした！
長い間使っていなかったため口元に苔が生えてきていたようです。

あかんやん・・！（笑）

ご心配なく。この部分は切り落としました。
ちゃんとした赤土が20本出来ました。使いに来てくださいね。
新大陸ではなかった～（笑）

気が付くと、朝から蝉がシュワシュワと鳴いております。

夏です！

そうすると・・植木たちが夏の太陽に照りつけられて元気がなくなります。
そこで、水かけばばぁの登場（笑）

つくばいやコケ山に水をあげると、鮮やかな緑色になります。

玄関一帯に水を撒き終る頃には、すっと涼しい風が吹いてきます。

これからの日課になりそうです。

皆さんも、玄関前に水撒きしていますか～？
見た目にも涼しく、砂埃も立ちにくくなり、気温も少し下がります。
昔ながらの知恵、大事です。
