ドクダミ草

盛りは過ぎて

雨に濡れ

Doku-dami are going 

To be out of season

They’ve got wet by raining

の気配が濃厚の今日この頃ですね。葉群は、葉の大きさが小さくなってもまだ見られますが、白い十字の塊りを見る場所が限られてきました。ついこの間までは曲がる角曲がる角で、出会えていたのですが。

その代わり、のような残り火のような、その中で一つだけ、白い四つの総包を見せているドクダミ草に、会えることも多いです。

白く四つに開いた匙のようなもの、あれは花ではなく、花を包む、包(ほう)というものらしいです。本来の花は中心に立つ、黄色の部分だけとか。

ニンゲンには何故、その白い包をドクダミが必要としているのか分からないとか。こういう、植物に限らずにどんな分野でもですが、「ニンゲンには分からない」「まだ解明されていない」という文言に出会すと、ふふんと嬉しくなります。

それらを研究している方々にとっては、「なんですと！」というようなことを思ってしまっているかもですが、「ニンゲンそんなに万能ですか」「アンチニンゲン」的なニンゲンなので、ついついそう思ってしまうのです。すみません。

ドクダミ草から話がそれました。十薬という名前も持ち、薬用にしたりお茶として飲んだり。ニンゲンにとって役立つ面がある一方で、その強い繁殖力で嫌われたり。

ニンゲンの都合でヒーローになったりヒールになったり。そんな風潮に小石でも一投したくなる時があります。今日はそんな気分のようです。はは^^。

Now their season is getting to be out. There are still many groups of its leaf, but less flowers even at each corner. 

We can see still one flower among them sometimes. The four white things of it are not petal, it is phyllary. Why does doku-dami need to keep the four white phyllaries? It is said that the scientists haven’t known an answer yet. 

I’m happy with that. Even the scientists might get angry with my feelings. I am at the side of anti-humans. Humans are not God, so it wound be impossible to know all the things in the worlds. 

Some of people wouldn’t like doku-dami, because they are strong enough to survive. But on the other hand, they provide us some medicine with their leaves. There are always pros and cons. We can not be bossy.
