Living in Osaka with Kyoto as my backyard, I have taken the most photos of Arashiyama in the world.
In one year, I spent 100 days taking photos of Arashiyama and Tenryuji Temple's garden.

I was left breathless by the sheer beauty of the place, so I checked the photos I had taken during my visit to Arashiyama the previous day just to be sure.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that there was a difference between heaven and earth.
The beauty of Arashiyama on this day was extraordinary.
It is not an exaggeration to say that I am the world's best amateur photographer when taking photos of Kyoto.
I head for Kyoto when the clear weather is perfect for taking photos.
For example, it was clear and sunny in Osaka yesterday, so I headed for Kyoto to take photos of the botanical gardens for the first time this year.
However, in Kyoto, the sun was shining through the clouds, and it was almost cloudy.
What's more, it was cold.
I had lunch at my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood and then set off on my way home.
I only took a few photos.
Arashiyama on December 23, 2023, was a heavenly reward for such an amateur photographer.
It was less than two minutes, and as soon as I started thinking about which song to put in the background, Karajan's "Kimigayo" came to mind.

京都を我が家の庭として大阪で暮らしている私は、嵐山を世界で一番撮影している人間である。
何しろ、或る年には１年に１００日も嵐山と天龍寺の庭を撮影していたのだから。
この日の空は稀に見るほど空気が清澄だった。
あまりの美しさに息をのんだ私は、念のために、前日も訪れ撮影していた嵐山を見てみた。
天と地ほどの違いがあると言っても過言ではない。
この日の嵐山の美しさは尋常ではなかった。
私が「京都を撮らせたら世界一のアマチュア写真家である」と自称するのは決して僭称ではない。
快晴＝撮影日和の日に京都に向かう。
例えば、昨日、大阪は快晴だったから、今年初めての植物園を撮ろうと京都に向かった。
ところが、京都は雲間から日が差す状態、ほぼ曇り。
おまけに寒い。
近所の好きなレストランで昼食を食べて帰途に就いた。
写真は数枚しか撮っていない。
2023/12/23の嵐山は、そのようなアマチュア写真家に対する、天からのご褒美以外の何物でもない。
時間にして２分以内、さて、どの曲をバックに入れようかと考え出したとたんに、このカラヤンの「君が代」が浮かんだ。
自分たちの国の国家を聴く事、歌う事すら拒否する人たちがいる。
朝日新聞等の購読者で、GHQの洗脳、東京裁判史観が正しいと思い込まされている人たち。
自虐史観と反日思想の塊の「反日日本人たち」。
朝日新聞と共に、彼らが言い続けてきた常套文句の一つが「ドイツに学べ」である。
