●Trip to Singapore

Thank you for your interesting journal.
I love the fantastic city, Singapore!
Oh, it is true the country is vibrant, isn’t it?

Well, I am also afraid of the depression of Japan economy.
And I think you are right to have global asset allocation.
But I envy you. You have a large asset in the world, aren’t you?

I have been to Singapore four times.
First time I went to Singapore when I was a university student.
And recently I went there in last march. Off course on business!

From the four trips to Singapore, I think that the city has continued its remarkable development.

You wrote you had a fun time in Singapore, didn’t you?

Off course I know the famous hotel in the SMAP CM.
It is Marina Bay Sands which has a swimming pool on the top.
I have not been there, but I heard it was blowy and a little cold there.

And also there are many foodie destinations and many delicious foods in Singapore.
I recommend the chicken rice as the Singapore food.
And I recommend two famous chicken rice restaurants, first “Chatter Box” in Mandarin Orchard Singapore and second “Boon Tong Kee” along the River Valley Rd.

At last I like the Chinese restaurant whose name is Orchard Lei Garden.I think it gives the best service for me ,and the taste is very good.

●Eu tive dinnner com amigo que quis trabalhar para o Japao os Voluntarios de Cooperacao Ultramarinos.

これだから人とのつきあいはやめられない。

5月下旬から通い始めた英会話
こちらのほう？英語力が上達したかどうかを聞かれると、冷や汗ものですが
相性というものはあるもので、私自身ではいままで何度か挑戦した英会話！　
会社推薦の朝レッスンだったり、まさに王道の　ベルリッツなどにお世話になってきたわけですが、
今回が一番口に出して言いたい放題、英語だかなんだかを言わせてもらっているような気がします。

ん？最近　この英語力のなさをなんとか度胸！　で海外出張などしているせいかもしれませんけれども。

でも、それよりも一緒に英会話をやっている人たちが、単に英語をというよりはそれぞれに目標をもっている、あるいは将来を語ってくれている　というのが大きいのかもしれません。

ここ何年かの私
ほんとうにいろんな世代の人たちとの出会いを経験できて、それが財産！　とばかりよかったと思っています。
会社も若くて優秀なひとが多いし、大学院はもう言うにおよばずの刺激の宝庫
町会とお祭りは大先輩との交流
そしてこの英会話も

昨日は青年海外協力隊に応募して、選考過程中という友人28歳でした。

いまどきの・・・といっては何ですが
青年海外協力隊も相当な倍率なのですね。

もっとも、世の中的にもこんだけ優秀な若者があふれているわけだから、わからないでもないですけれども

一方で、もうひとりはフリーター25歳・・・なんだけれども
なにがどうして・・・そのアルバイトなどの経験を聞いていると、正社員よりも仕事に貢献しているではないか・・・しかも、年齢を感じさせないどうどうとした意見発言・・・

帰国子女？・・・なのはあるものの、なかなかどうしてこの若さですごいな・・とつくづく思う次第です。

ひるがっての、四十路・・・
もっともっと、経験を積んでいかないとダメだわ・・・と思う次第です。

いや・・・なんの経験だろ・・・　汗
