蟻桟と込み栓のテーブル製作

古屋を解体された際に出た神棚板と古材を使ってほしいとのご依頼でテーブルを製作しました。
古材の風合いに合わせ、釘やビスは使わず蟻桟と込み栓で組み立てです。
蟻桟は、逆台形の溝にテーパーをつけた桟をはめ込み固定する方法で、板の収縮を妨げない先人が考えた優れた手法です。
込み栓にもテーパーをつけた打ち込むことで堅固に組むことができます。
あとは小さな引き出しをアクセントにお付けしようと思います。





We made a table based on a request to use the altar board and old materials that were found when an old house was demolished.
To match the texture of the old wood, it is assembled using dovetails and plugs without using nails or screws.
Dovetail is a method of fitting and fixing tapered crosspieces into inverted trapezoidal grooves, and is an excellent method devised by our predecessors that does not prevent the board from shrinking.
By driving the stopper with a taper, it can be firmly assembled.
I'm also thinking of adding a small drawer as an accent.

我们根据要求制作了一张桌子，使用了拆除老房子时找到的祭坛板和旧材料。
为了匹配旧木材的纹理，它是使用燕尾榫和插头组装的，而不使用钉子或螺钉。
