On June 4, 2024, I present my best shots of Kanazawa, Kenrokuen Garden, and Kanazawa Castle to readers worldwide, along with the third movement of Brahms's Piano Concerto No. 2.
The day before, my best friend described a concert by Murata Natshuho in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, my mother's hometown, as "Natshuho descended as the sun goddess Amaterasu, and the high school girls from Gunma Prefecture who were the guests of honor and occupied the entire first floor turned into Jizo statues and listened intently to the music played by the violinist of the century." What a wise statement.
