The following is from a tweet by Noriya Usami, which I just discovered.

One thing the WBPC has in common is its proximity to the Japan Federation of Bar Associations.
That's why the WBPC is making legal fees come out of public funds to support the needy within the framework of legislators' bills or create new claims to create lawsuit stories.
It can justify to some extent in the name of welfare, but it is now a hunt for concessions.
It will get out of hand if we don't stop this now.
If you think about it for a minute, no legislator will bother to create legislation that doesn't benefit them.
The Difficult Women's Assistance Act and the new AV law should be a framework that benefits legislators from both the ruling and opposition parties who were deeply involved in drafting it.
