2022年6月、オートバイに乗っている大学生に言いがかりをつけ、その後、友人と 2台のオートバイで信号待ちしていた際、時速 100㎞ 近い速度で、車のブレーキを掛けずに 2人をはねて、1人を殺害して、そのまま現場から逃走している 八田與一（はったよいち）容疑者、全国の警察を挙げて捜査をする「重要指名手配」扱いの延長が発表されています。

In June 2022, the suspect, Yoichi Hatta, made a false accusation against a university student riding a motorcycle, and then, while waiting at a traffic light with his friends on two motorcycles, hit two people without braking at nearly 100 km/h, killing one of them, and fled the scene. The police in Japan have announced the extension of the “Most Wanted” status.

オートバイ（ライダー）への車（ドライバー）による暴力的・殺人的な行為は決して珍しくはありません。 大きな話題になった例は、2018年7月、大阪府で通勤中の大型バイクに乗る男性を執拗にあおり運転を行ない、転倒に追い込み、その男性は亡くなったものの、その始終を記録したドライブレコーダーに「はい、終わり」とつぶやいた 中村精寛被告（42）は 「殺人罪」が確定・16年の懲役。 また、2023年8月、沖縄・那覇市では、二人が乗ったオートバイに車を衝突させ、その上、轢こうとしたとして検挙された 新垣広明容疑者（58）など、事故や事件になっていなくても 全国各地で起きている事で、最も懸念するのは、車は逃走して、オートバイの単独死亡事故＝無謀運転として処理されている可能栄の事故もある事です。

映画「イージーライダース」でも描写されている様に、日本以外の国でも、社会から疎まれ、殺されても仕方ない対象としてオートバイ（ライダー）が捉えられている風潮は間違いなくあり、それへの対策がライダーには常に求められています。

同様に、GRAでもその事への啓発を続けていきます。

ロケットバイク、タイヤ荷重は変化しますか？/ Does the load on a Rocket Bike change?

  
公式Webサイトの記事『 グリップ力とは？ 』をご覧になった方からの質問に応えて、Q&A記事『タイヤ荷重について？』を作成中ですが、その中で使用するイラスト “ロケット バイク” が完成しましたので紹介します。

In response to questions from readers of the article " Think about Grip Force " on our official website, we are currently creating a Q&A article entitled "What is tire load?" and have just completed the illustration of the "Rocket Bike" that will be used in the article.

“ロケットバイク”は、ロケットエンジン だけで走る “超”加速ができるオートバイです。
さて、みなさんに質問です。オートバイの記事では、「加速によって姿勢変化が起きて後輪タイヤへの荷重が増える」という内容の解説がありますが、この “ロケットバイク” でも同じ事が言えるでしょうか？

但し、ロケットの推進力はかなり強力ですから、その推進軸は 重心（車体とライダーの）を通り、水平になっています。（水平でないと空か地中へと進みますので ・・・）
また、「タイヤ荷重」とはタイヤを路面に押し付けている力の事ですし、ライダーは強力な推進力に耐える強靭な肉体をしていて、加速前とライディングポジションは変化しないとします。

GRA公式Webサイトの解説記事をご覧になった方から、『 バンクのさせ方 』について礼儀正しい質問が寄せられました。 そこには、ご自身の体験と試行を重ねて得られた独自のライディングスタイルも書かれてあり、多くのライダーの参考になる内容でした。

そのため、『 Q&A  バンクのさせ方 』（仮称）という記事を作成して、その方の質問内容を紹介すると共に、バンクのさせ方について、多くの人と一緒に考える機会にする事にしましたのでご期待ください。（掲載予定は 9月下旬の予定）

We received a polite question about “how to lean” from a rider who had read the explanatory article on the official GRA website. The article included his own unique riding style, which he had obtained through his own experience and trial and error, and the content would be helpful to many riders.

We have decided to create an article titled “Q&A: How to Lean” (tentative title) to introduce his question and provide an opportunity to think together with many people about how to lean. (The article is scheduled to be published in late September.)

In addition, we are also looking for people to fill out a survey on “How to Lean”. Please share your thoughts and experiences with us.

看板デザイン案のお知らせ / Report on the Sign Design proposal

引っ越してから 13ヶ月、構想 約10ヶ月、中断期間を挟んで、ようやく 看板のデザイン案が固まりました。既に、看板用の架台は完成していて、オレンジ色の 看板用の板も完成していますので、後は 出力して貼り付けるだけです。( 大きさは 横 690 × 縦 590 ㎜ )

After 13 months since we moved, about 10 months of planning, and a break, we have finally solidified the design proposal for the sign. The stand for the sign is already complete, and the orange sign board is also complete, so all that's left is to print it out and stick it on. (Size: 690mm wide x 590mm long)  

完成すれば、妖怪ガレージで行なう『持込み整備』企画の利用者も迷わずに済みますし、グールグルのストリートビュー撮影者が撮影してくれたら、もしかすると宣伝効果もあるでしょう。期待しています。

Once it's complete, it will help users of the "Bring-in Repair" project at Yokai Garage to avoid getting lost, and if a Street View photographer from GuruGuru takes a picture of it, it might even have a promotional effect. We're looking forward to it.
