Go to the Imperial Palace
皇居乾通り秋の一般公開。春の時に行けなかったので、秋は行く！ っと行ってきました。春に行ったおかんに寄ると中に入るまでに3時間も待ったとか。前日にそんな話を急に持ち出してビビらせるので、そんなん待つなら無理か？ と暗雲立ち込める中デモデモ取り敢えず行ってみることにはしましたが、朝起きたら雷。この時期に？ とだいぶ動揺しましたが30分程で収まったのでお出かけ。東京駅に着くとアチコチで駅員さんタチが「皇居乾通り…云々」とアナウンス。10時過ぎていたので覚悟はしてましたが…。駅内のおトイレも混んでるし。駅を出て歩みの遅いおかんを急かしヒトの波をぬぐって坂下門という乾通りの入り口へ急ぐ。周りにアチコチおまわりさんタチが群集の整理をしていて、アッチだコッチだの指示に従って右往左往していると、入り口に向かう太いヒトの流れに無事合流。「ここからが長いんだ」とおかん。しかし流れは早足で進んで行きアレヨアレヨという間にボディーチェックのところに到着して無事チェックが済んで、コッチコッチと流れに従うともうチョット先に坂下門が！ そしてそこで5分程待っているともう門に向かう流れの中にいたのでした。太い流れに合流してから約30分程で坂下門を通過。乾通りの紅葉/黄葉は盛りを過ぎてしまっていたのもありましたが…。いやはや、3時間じゃなくて良かったです。しかしあれだけのヒトの中で、陛下の傘寿を記念しての一般公開、ということをどれ位のヒトが意識してたんでしょーかね？？
Opening to the public for 5 days in Autumn about Inui-dori ( "dori" means street or footpath ) of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, I went there with my mum yesterday. She went there this spring, it was so crowded, she waited for 3 hours before entered inside. Oh, my God, she told me about that before the day we went, but anyway, usually the street doesn't open to the public, it's a special offer to the public because our emperor is now 80 years old, we celebrate his age. Yesterday morning, we'd got thunders and lights a few times. What? It's not usual, we were surprised, but it'd gone after 30 mins, ok, we got out of our house. When we arrived at Tokyo station, many station staffs announced the information "Inui-Dori", direction&how much crowded, my mum and I followed their announcement. Outside of the station, we also followed the police people's announcements, then...finally we arrived at the gate, Sakashita-mon Wachi was the entrance to Inui-Dori. We were waiting for around 30 mins, not 3 hours. That's good. There were so many people, I thought how many people thought about the emperor's 80 years anniversary??
